I’ve got a surprisingly effective one here in a new version of Cloning Gallery Combo priest!

While it’s, admittedly, nowhere near as good as the gallery of the past year, this one has plenty of game. There are multiple ways to assemble quite a lot of combo damage.

Jepetto draws Maly, Velen, and/or Alex.

Vivid nightmare onto discounted Maly or Velen.

Vargoth casts double Mind Blast with bonuses from Maly and/or Velen.

Gallery puts Velen and Maly out, hold coin and cast Mind Blast or multiple Smites.

Mass Resurrection brings back Velen and/or Maly, then (hopefully) next turn combo off with Vivid or Vargoth.

Besides these combo avenues to victory, the deck has plenty of sticking power with strong 5-mana taunts, Mass Rez, and Catrina+Seance to keep the rezzing going. Mass Dispel is incredibly powerful right now, and is one of the reasons why this deck is a little more playable than just a few months ago (plus you don’t have to deal with the beating that was Pirate Rogue).

The plan is to survive until you can assemble bits of the combo. Space out removal and AOE to maximise effectiveness. Heal your face frequently. Use Vargoth + Divine Hymn if necessary, but try to save Vargoth for Mind Blast combos. However, it is worth playing Vargoth earlier if you can reliably resurrect him, especially with Mass Rez, since it doubles with him and often wins you the game on the spot. Another fun play pattern is to Seance great minions that your opponents control (that you wouldn’t mind having in your rez pool).

Adjustable card slots are essentially the removal suite. I’m not sure about Nova, and that might change to just a Shadow Word Pain or another Forbidden Words. It’s actually kind of silly how many games I’ve won out of the blue just by staying alive, and then an “oops I win” combo emerges.

A rough mulligan guide can be easily explained. Keep your 5 mana minions, Jepetto, and Cloning Gallery, and keep every spell except for Vivid Nightmare and Mass Rez. Some matchups push you to dig for Mass Hysteria, but like the last Cloning Gallery deck, you really don’t want to have the minion combo pieces in hand if you can avoid it.

This is one of the best priest decks I’ve played in this meta, and I’ve been trying quite a few! Have fun winning out of nowhere!
