16.0.3 Update - Bug Fixes, Two Cards Removed From Arena Drafts, Primalfin Lookout Moved to T5 in Battlegrounds
Yeah, the new solo content is coming in January, but we don’t know the exact date or anything about pricing yet. Where did you hear that by the way?
I actually think that it’s cool that we’ll get more cards in the middle of expansion, but only a little over a month after expansion might be too early. I think that 2 months would be perfect. We’ll see how it works, it’s cool that they’re willing to experiment.

Murlocs were the strongest tribe after the latest wave of buffs + release of Bagurgle, they really had to nerf something to put them back in line.
Best Hearthstone Decks - Standard Meta Tier List - Whizbang's Workshop (May 2024)
Are you talking about Wild? Because C’Thun is not a card available in Standard, and this is a Standard Tier List.
I’m not really familiar with how Wild meta looks like or which decks are strong there, but I haven’t heard anything about C’Thun Rogue being strong.
Whizbang the Wonderful Deck Recipes List - Descent of Dragons Decks, Hero Power, Golden Decks, & More!
Have you further tested it? Did you see any other Classic recipes? Maybe only that one was added by mistake or something?
I would test it but I’m just swamped with other work right now :/
Best Hearthstone Decks - Standard Meta Tier List - Whizbang's Workshop (May 2024)
Hey, sorry for not replying, I didn’t look at the comments here earlier. Yes, the cards have already rotated out, but we didn’t want to update the meta tier list for 5 days between Wild cards rotation and a new expansion. We just made an early update.
Whizbang the Wonderful Deck Recipes List - Descent of Dragons Decks, Hero Power, Golden Decks, & More!
Weird, maybe they have changed it. It never gave classic decks before.

Deck recipes were updated for Descent of Dragons expansion!
Standout Descent of Dragons Decks From Day 1
Going with the stats and my experience so far, Treant Druid looks pretty average right now.

New Shop Is Here! Buy Wild Card Packs & Adventures In Game - Tyrande & Sylvanas Heroes Will Come Out Tomorrow With Descent of Dragons
It’s not a glitch, that’s how it’s supposed to work ๐ That’s how everyone got their C’thun back in the day, you could not find him in packs, everyone got him for free after cracking open the first Old Gods pack.
Alleria, Magni and Medivh Rotate From Shop - Today (December 9) is The Last Chance to Get Them!
Yeah, I thought that the shop’s overhaul will come out with expansion’s release today, but it happened yesterday already, ~8 hours after I created this post.

Mike Donais said that they aren’t thinking about things like monetization or cosmetics yet in one of the interviews – they want to focus on the gameplay first and then handle those after the Beta.
New Shop Is Here! Buy Wild Card Packs & Adventures In Game - Tyrande & Sylvanas Heroes Will Come Out Tomorrow With Descent of Dragons
We’ll take a look at this topic some time after Descent of Dragons release (because for now we’ll have to focus our attention on the new set).
You definitely should not fish for specific Epics & Legendaries from older expansions, because you would need to open tens or possibly even hundreds of packs to find them. But we’ll look at the sets with most playable Commons and Rares (that also have some worthwhile more expensive cards just in case you snatch them), because you can reliably get those after opening a relatively small amount of packs, and crafting Commons is a pretty bad deal.
Descent of Dragons Theorycraft Deck Lists - New Builds For Every Class!
Yes, you will get two! They will show up when you launch the game after expansion is released.
Alleria, Magni and Medivh Rotate From Shop - Today (December 9) is The Last Chance to Get Them!
I also like Sylvanas more, but Alleria ain’t bad at all.
Plus, if someone plays a lot of Hunter, he might want to diversify ๐
And last, but not least, she’s $3 cheaper for what it’s worth.
Descent of Dragons Theorycraft Deck Lists - New Builds For Every Class!
Oh, hahah, it definitely feels great to be able to play everything on Day 1 ๐ I always buy just one pre-order, because between the packs from gold, packs from pre-order and all the Dust I have accumulated over years it’s still enough to playtest anything I want. Or rather, anything I NEED, because I always want to playtest the best early builds I’m covering :p I rarely have time to play the meme decks I want to, at least during the first few days after expansion’s release, which are very busy.
Descent of Dragons Card Review #8 (Final) - Violet Spellwing, Elemental Allies, Skybarge, Aeroponics, Skyfin, Squallhunter, Tasty Flyfish and more!
Thank you everyone for another amazing reveal season!
Doing reviews this time around was really difficult, because the expansion has so many insane cards. I gave out more 7/10+ ratings than I ever did in another expansion, but it feels weird, because I know that lots of them won’t see any play in the end. That’s because the overall power level of this set is so high that a card that is “good” by normal standards can be not good enough in Descent of Dragons. They also pushed so many different archetypes for all the classes that it’s hard to say which one will turn out to be playable in the end (e.g. every class can now attempt to play a Highlander deck or a Dragon deck).
I hope that the meta turns out to be fun and balanced, because if not, they will have A LOT of balancing to do ๐
From my own experience + after watching lots of high MMR players it’s pretty clear that Murlocs are a bit too strong. I’m not THAT high (around 7k rating) but people there try to force Murlocs all the time, to the point that most of the best cards disappear from the pool very quickly ๐ So funnily enough, Murlocs are so good that it might often be better to go for a different strat just because the best Murloc cards are contested because of shared card pools.
Moving Coldlight Seer to T2 really made their early game so much better (getting a few Murlocs + buffing them all with +2 Health is crazy good), while Primalfin and Bagurgle let them stack more stats in the mid/late game. Getting an early Brann was basically a GG because of that. All you needed to do is survive, then get Megasaur for Divine Shield + Poisonous and basically no one could beat that. Before the buffs/Bagurgle, it was also an amazing late game strategy, but most of the Murloc players died before they could get that far :p
