As much as I look forward to the day when I can dance on DQ Alextrasza’s grave, I’ll take a nerf to the mana discount. The other nerfs are nice as well.

As soon as Monstrous Macaw was shown I knew it would be moved to tier 3. Really good patch for battlegrounds, and a good change for Twin Slice as well.

The pirates and heroes look interesting, but is anyone else hyped for Monstrous Macaw? It feels like a card that you could really experiment with.

I’m sad that Hecklebot didn’t make the cut, I loved using that card in control warrior during RoS. Other than that I love this idea.
Ashes of Outland Expansion is Now Live!
If you want to use Magtheridon, play warlock. Hellfire clears the tokens instantly and that combo has won a couple of games for me so far.

If you have a consistent way to give a minion Rush, this is crazy strong.
Guardian Augmerchant
Really interesting design. I doubt it’s going to see play in constructed, except maybe in some kind of self-damaging warrior deck, but it’ll be a great arena card.
Imprisoned Sungill
Curves nicely into Coldlight Seer. You can make a very healthy board on turn 3, then buff the attack on turn 4. Doesn’t seem that great, but I’m not writing it off completely.

I imagine it doesn’t have any extra effect. It would be weird if they introduced some kind of ‘double divine shield’ mechanic just for battlegrounds. Although come to think of it, it would be cool if the golden version gave divine shield as a deathrattle as well…

Maybe I’m stupid, but I’m struggling to see the win condition for dragons. A massive Razorgore and a bunch of divine shields? How is that going to beat the late game demon or mech builds?

I’m not sure about this. Zoo doesn’t want it because it’s too slow, combo doesn’t it because it doesn’t play into their win condition. I think the best chance for it is as a late game win condition for a control deck, but where’s the support for a deck like that?

Why would I play this when I could get the same effect by pressing the ‘concede’ button?

The discard synergy doesn’t even matter, this is insanely good in any deck that cares about value.

You’re getting Proud Defender confused with Belligerent Gnome. Its attack buff doesn’t trigger off the number of enemy minions, it triggers off being the only friendly minion.
Plot Twist
If you play this with Augmented Elekk do you get two copies of every card in your hand? If so then this is absolutely nuts. You can use it to fish for board clears against aggro, or you use it to go infinite against control. I think this is going to be the basis of a new Fatigue Warlock archetype, just like Dead Man’s Hand created a new type of Warrior deck.
I’d go even further and make it a cleave effect. You cast it and until the end of the turn your attacks hit adjacent minions. It would give the DH some control over which minions get hit, but their opponent could play around it with taunt placement.
