Replacement for Elise?

Is demonic project only good ’cause if your opponent doesn’t play warlock and bloodreaver gul’dan himself you will be able to resummon the demon and he won’t? Or is there another good reason to play this card?

IF this ever finds its way into a druid deck, it would just be a (much) worse version of Malygos druid. Maly druid’s OTK effect is far easier to achieve (mainly ’cause you can achieve it faster) than the Mecha’thun combo, which you’ll only be able to play when you will have been able to draw out your whole deck, gotten rid of any remaining friendly minions on the board, emptied your hand except for Mecha’thun, innervate and naturalize, and most importantly having stayed alive. Trust me, playing such a game would be so exhausting, you wouldn’t want to play it ever again. ^^

I can’t help feeling sorry for the artist of the original artwork, though.

Oh wait I hadn’t seen it only costs 1 mana. In that case, its probably only as good as arcane explosion, maybe a tiny little bit better.

This is just a worse version of arcane explosion. Simple as that.

Hey guys, I have a question (which is unrelated with this card): when does the fire festival end?

You have to admit that warrior has been the least favoured class of the game for a few months now. I think it rightly deserves a card like this one to increase in popularity (at least a little) and to add more variety to strong warrior deck archetypes. As for the fact that its not a neutral: hero cards never are. In the Witchwood shaman got ‘priviledged’ with a hero card depicting one of the expansions main characters, while no other class got anything of the sort. It is true that Dr Boom could have been a strong neutral minion, but we already have one (in wild, nevertheless, but still existant) and I would have been flustered too if Dr Boom had been printed as a new warlock, druid, rogue or paladin hero card, but since its warrior, I don’t mind and eagerly await the classes’ revival on the standard ladder.

Playing against Shudderwock shaman is always a question of luck with this deck. I’d suggest a hyper aggressive approach: hitting the ennemy hero as much as possible for maximum pressure and only kill his minions if your own life is seriously under threat. Try to win the game before he gets to play shudderwock. I have about 50% winrates against shudderwock shaman by doing this.

Just got crushed by this deck today… I didn’t know this kind of zoo before. I certainly recommend it to all zoo warlock lovers!

Sounds OK, but in general I don’t think Azalina’s cost and low stats can really be compensated by that…

Couldn’t this deck be better with 1x naturalize instead of innervate? Just to efficiently deal with big threats

Sulfury is good to taunt up your big (high-healthed) minions, ’cause by playing even warlock, you often sacrifice a lot of life and this can really get dangerous against aggressive decks. I play this deck and trust me, sunfury protector is quite important. Skulking can be nice but mostly only against druid decks, and you have to play it before he destroys your minions with his 1-cost spells, while Rin is just too slow for the deck, as it mainly focusses on steady but fast beatdown on your opponnent, and if that doesn’t work, try hero with a fresh amount of demons and the lifesteal hero power.

Just asking: why Azalina?

Hi, I’ve watched your yt video in which you demonstrate this deck in practice. I must say, the deck really pleased me there, but you didn’t play against any control warlocks, which (I think) might be this deck’s weakness to play against. Could you perhaps show a victory or two with this deck against control warlock, just to completely persuade me of its strength? Anyway, thanks a lot for uploading it, it’s really nice against odd pallys 🙂
