I immediatly replaced Selfless Sidekick with Bru’kan, for reasons you mentioned (regarding Sidekick). Works fine.

I would be very surprised if they’d nerf Flamewaker, a card that was last played over a year ago. Agreed that it limits design space, but then it’s a ‘space of design’ Blizzard actually doesn’t want to explore (see your other, valid points).

Add to that the fact that nerfing Flow AND Water (I’m pretty sure they will nerf both) will reduce the deck’s power (might even kill it if the nerfs are harsh enough), Flamewaker doesn’t need to be nerfed.

Because I want to complete the Diamond Rag Achievement, I bought one deck (Rogue seemed to be the most valuable). Was enough to craft 2 stupid, useless Classic Legendaries. 😀 Still 4 missing, though…

Valid points and I already thought that low tempo might be the reason … although I value the tempo regain provided by the golems very high (yeah, stealth + copy is my favorite). But I absolutely agree that most of the golem’s abilities might be useless.

I nonetheless cut the one Coerce for Kazakus – reasoning was that Coerce might be completely useless sometimes where Kazakus is at least playable, then. 😉

Do I understand it correctly that the first reward track already counts for those skins? So if I was at Level 150, I just need to complete Level 50 of the current track to get my first ‘armor skin’?

The disussion about ‘playing the best possible deck in competitive HS’ is nearly as old as the game itself. 😉

Fact is that it’s the way to go – in competitive formats. The real problem is that people are playing the same decks in Casual Mode – or, to say it in other words, that there is no true Casual Mode for playing HS.

That said: Do your calculations include the fact that some Legendaries are undustable (Mankrik, to be exact). And I understand this correctly (I’m not very good at that): If I just want to by a deck for the dust, it’s better to pay 20$ for packs instead? Because, 8.600 dust seems like a god bargain for 20$…
