(Update: Looks like the issue with claiming got fixed. Enjoy your portraits!)

A total of 10 new Hero portraits were added in Patch 20.2, and you can theoretically get all of them... most likely over a few years. In order to unlock them, you need to finish Tavern Regular achievement. Each tier of the achievement requires you to hit a total of 200 levels on rewards track - it accumulates over multiple expansions, so you don't have to grind it all in one go. After you finish (and claim) each tier, you get to pick one of the ten skins - so in order to unlock three of them, you need 600 levels, five of them - 1000 levels and all of them - 2000 levels.

Assuming that the current rate of 400 maximum rewards track levels per expansion will persist, you would need to hit max level in 5 expansions in a row to get all of them. Given that the first rewards track expansion (Darkmoon Faire) had only 350 levels, it increases the requirement by one expansion (but you don't need to grind through it, only 50 levels are needed). So even assuming maximum grind, players won't be able to unlock all of them all the way until 3rd expansion of 2022. And if we count a more casual 100 levels per expansion... it means that you can get all of them over 20 expansions, or almost 7 years. Of course, a lot can change during that time, the achievement can be made easier (or harder), but as you can see, skins you get from it are quite premium, and not many players will run around with them.

Either way, here's a full list of skins you can pick from. All of them depict basic Hearthstone heroes wearing Tier 2 raid armor from WoW, or at least ones that look very similar.

All of these look great! Is the Tavern Regular Achievement already in progress or are they adding it in a future patch?

      Currently bugged

Why would they use tier 5 armor only for Valeera's skin??
    (Tier 2 would be bloodfang)

We already got Tier 2 from book of heroes skin.

Yeah that would be a good reason :)
Just noticed it was using the t2 appearance as it is named "Gladiator"

"as you can see, skins you get from it are quite premium, and not many players will run around with them"

Well not really. You get your first skin after just 200 levels, so basicaly everyone will have at least one. And since everyone can pick what they want, you will likely meet all of these skins pretty often.

I wouldn't call 200 levels "just", it's still a lot, it will take most of the players at least 2 expansions to get there (keep in mind that majority of the playerbase is more casual). And that's just for one. Compared to others that are just straight up bought with money/gold or obtained for free, they will still be quite rare for some time.

They will definitely become common after a year or two, but I don't expect to see a lot of them overall (most likely more on high rank ladder, since it has way more dedicated players on average).

'Given that the first rewards track expansion (Darkmoon Faire) had only 350 levels, it increases the requirement by one expansion'

Do I understand it correctly that the first reward track already counts for those skins? So if I was at Level 150, I just need to complete Level 50 of the current track to get my first 'armor skin'?

Besides that, great looking Hero Skins!

Yep, that's exactly how it works. It's cumulative from all the rewards track, including Darkmoon Faire.

I just l claimed mine and I'm already on the way to get a 2nd one later this expansion :) Still need a little bit over 100 levels, though.

Exactly the same here. 105, to be exact. ;)
