Mulligans
General Mulligans
Due to the fact you have a quest in your opening had you want to really mulligan for draw. Obviously a Northshire Cleric in your opening hand is ideal, and if you can get a Devilsaur Egg down with a Tortollan Shellraiser then you should be off to a good start, the early game isn't about anything other than trying to slow your opponent, use these taunts and 5/5s to trade with your opponents board and then bring them back to life again with Twilight's Call
Spirit Lash is also a great hold against aggro as it not only weakens their board, but gives you healing, and targets for your hero power so Northshire Cleric can get some draw in, an additional bonus is to add in Circle of healing for these situations so you can get extra draws for free.
This deck is based around the idea that you will use Zerek's Cloning Gallery to summon most of your Deathrattle minions, alongside ideally two Stormwind Champion, this will instantly make your board up to a 3/3 with the Stormwind Champion minions being 2/2. this alongside the Necrotic Geist will allow you to trade and create an even bigger board if it is not removed by your opponent.
The Coffin Crasher is really useful in getting Silver Vanguard out of your hand without having to spend the 7 mana, this will help you to pull your The Lich King and Violet Wurm to give you a massive tempo swing.
Your main focus early game should be to draw as much as possible and use your Shadow Visions flexibly to react with AoE and through Spirit Lash, summoning back your Devilsaur Egg and Tortollan Shellraiser combo with Twilight's Call, or just going for draws Power Word: Shield until you can find your Zerek's Cloning Gallery.
This is all just a rough idea and needs some tweaking so if you have any ideas or varients please let me know as this is a deck I’m planning on crafting, not this exact iteration but I think it’ll be fun.
I’ve had a little play with this idea of using Zerek's Cloning Gallery as I got it as my freebie and I believe this idea could work, and even if it’s not great it’s still fun to play 🙂
