Mulligans
General Mulligans
Strong early game is key. Tempo must be matched or you risk losing to aggro decks.
This could be a decent contender for a high tier deck. I’ve found much success in the early days of the expansion.
Edwin is OP, Tenwu is OP, Togwaggle is OP, Galakrond is OP, Y’shaarj is OP
Deck has multiple win conditions. You can always push a win in early turns against aggro decks with a big Edwin on turn 3. Tenwu is an all around solid utility card as long as you have one extra mana to spend.
There will be opportunities for “power plays” that can decide a game in themselves. The above mentioned cards are central to those plays.
There’s also alternate win conditions with just minions generated off Invoke effects and Miscreant.
The miracle cards will be Togwaggle’s wand, Galakrond (play on curve if necessary, don’t wait to buff), and Jepetto to cycle through your deck with low cost, game changing battlecry effects.
Do not be afraid to play Circus Medic on Curve if you deem it necessary, the heal can be valuable and the tempo can be game saving. You most likely will not win every game with Y’shaarj combo, but you can use those cards flexibly to push for lethal if it will be difficult to achieve the OTK.
Mulligan for your low cost cards, tempo is very important in this deck in order to survive late game. Rogue lacks powerful AOE removal and heal, so you need to make use of your minions to maintain a healthy board state. Khartut and Circus can offer minimal healing in times of need.
Cards that could be cut are Polkelt, Jepetto, khartut, or Shadow Sculptor.
