It doesn’t, that’s one of this decks weak matchups.

I’m playing similar version with jades as more threat.
I’m having a huge problem with totems that are already on board. They will mess a lot of spirit echo turn but we have to keep making totem to make things from below cheaper.
Any ideas? I would love to have hero power altering cards. I dont think bloodlust/flametongue go well with the deck theme.
The most common problem is against burn mage since we need the space to heal and we have a lot of useless cards (including the 8 AoEs)

I managed to only play this against control last night. I waited until I had white eyes and 2 free things from below before I’d use spirit echo. I’d also seem to discover more white eyes and things from below with stonehill defender. One N’Zoth summoned me 4 white eyes in one game. Now I was testing this deck out in casual mode. Will take it to the ladder today.

Those are tough matchups. In my experience, careful use of Spirit Echo is the key, since it gives you more minions and (importantly) more battlecries. So I try not to waste it on a single minion—even if I’m tempted to (for example with White Eyes or Storm Guardian). I’ve won a few matches by doing two big 10-mana healing turns: drop both Waterspeakers and then Spirit Echo, and you get those two minions (plus anything else on the board…including Hotspring Guardians) back when they die. Thus more healing. I also try to save my AOEs until Hallazeal is on the board, since your health gains increase the more damage you do.

With Quest Warrior, I’ve typically lost in the early game, when they got armor-granting minions on the board while my own minions’ attacks were still weak (Stonehill, Dirty Rat, Hotspring Guardian). The games stretch on, but my opponents often had like 25 armor, which is close to unwinnable. When I’ve won, it was due to filling the board with as many minions as possible to avoid Sulfuras damage to face, and being careful not to use my AOE or Hexes prematurely. (Save the Hexes for mama Direhorns or Primordial Drakes, so you can push through!)

Thanks for posting this deck. If my last few games are any prediction, it lives up to its “anti-aggro” claims (tons of healing, cheap taunts). It also won me a fatigue game against Quest Warrior. So it seems pretty flexible. Looking forward to more fun with it this week!
