With White Eyes you’re better off with Ancestral Spirit … and that’s already a “thing” in Wild I’ve noticed.

Rogue deserves something like this too.

Also… maybe just maybe.. AN ACTUALLY USABLE WEAPON!

Shaman getting two new archetypes. Paladin gets a dumb dinosaur. Why is this allowed?

If you can land this on Nzoth or giantfin, you instantly win.

A far stronger and more consistent Infest. There’s a reason murlocs feature on the card art; this makes the quest far easier to achieve and could be used to get a second and even third copy of Giantfin.

As much as Infest and Explorer’s Hat did, or Unearthed Raptor for that matter – which is to say nope.

Compare to infest and blood warriors…. same mana, similar effect

Positives: you get minions you want rather than randoms( infest)

Negatives: if you have a board full of minions you want, aren’t you already winning?!? At least infest can be cast on tokens, improving their value (although random)

I think this will see about as much play as the other two cards… a tool in certain builds, but certainly not archetype defining.

I think this will see play in aggro so you don’t run out of steam. Or maybe with some of the new busted elementals that shaman will get,

you don’t seem to get it. this is clearly designed for shaman’s play 10 murloc quest

Yes, it’s obvious that its designed for the guest, but this card could be used in an elemental deck all the same. You could use it in a more control focused elemental deck and use this card to maintain elemental synergy throughout the game. although, that’s assuming that the meta is slow enough to let a deck like that even exist.

I think this card reinforces quite a lot the aggro murloc shaman archetype that Blizzard is shaping for Ungoro. You vomit a board of highly synergetic and cheap minions (murlocs) over an over again with help of Spirit Echo and Megafin (pretty sure we’ll often see this guy on turn 6). Victory is decided by turn 7.

wouldn’t that be too slow? shaman gets victory by turn5-6 already

Except Standard Shamans are losing both Tunnel Trogg and Totem Golem once the expansion hits… Soo….

But unlike infest, it gives you exactly the minion you want, and you don’t have to previously set it up like blood warriors.

Still i doubt it works in forwarding the murloc quest, because murlocs already struggles to keep a board.

Just when it seems official that aggro pirate warriors will finally come to an end in the next expansion, aggro murloc shamans announce their triumphal entry…
