Guide

This is a Treachery Warlock deck which aim is to discard your opponent’s hand with Howlfiend and Treachery and kill their boards at the same time. This not just potencially gets rid of their key cards and win conditions but completely shuts them down for a few turns so can heal your face or kill the opponent. In the first few turns you just draw card from you hero power and Kobold Librarian. You do nothing basically just staying alive with tools like Hellfire, Despicable Dreadlord, Lord Godfrey,  the Voidlords, etc and control the board. Make sure to keep at least one Defile in order to be able to do the Treachery combo. The main trick and the hardest part of the deck is using Possessed Lackey and Skull of the Man'ari well since it is pretty terrible to have Howlfiend on your side of the board. In slow matchups you can keep one or both Howlfiends during the mulligan so you will be able to recruit the Voidlords or the Despicable Dreadlords. On the other hand when you play against aggro or midrange you should always count your chances and be really careful. Other important thing is equipping Skull of the Man'ari correctly. Don’t use it unless you have a Treachery and removal in hand or you made sure you have enough cover for a Howlfiend being on your side. Since a lot of classes are also able to ping it behind a taunts and stuff you shouldn’t do it without a Treachery. If you manage to make the combo, it slows down aggro fatally and it also destroys control decks if you manage to burn their win condition cards.

Having two of Treacherys and Howlfiends makes the deck more based on this combo. You can do the combo twice and you have better chances to draw the combo peaces earlier. Most of my opponents gave up after I destroyed their hands but it is good to have it one more time in case they stand up afterwards. Although having two of these cards can sometimes lead to very bad hands and being unable to react correctly to the plays of your opponent. So there is a downside. You can play the deck with one Howlfiend and one Treachery filling up the empty slots with more defensive tools, for example two Stonehill Defenders or Tar Creepers. Since Treachery is also good with Doomsayer, you can also cut just one Howlfiend so a lot of variations are possible.

Good thing is this deck is perfect against paladins even and odd at the same time. I included Despicable Dreadlord just because of the silverhand recruits. I lost none of the games against paladin since I test this deck. I don’t have a sample sized big enough to talk about detailed stats yet but I totally lost only 3 out 25 games below rank 5: one against Cubelock, one against rogue with Baku, and one game against a hunter also with Baku.
