Mulligans
General Mulligans
The general strategy is to ramp and play your taunts, then resummon them with Hadronox.
Druid
Since the release of the Witchwood expansion, there have been experiments with many decks. And there are attempts to bring the taunt druid archetype to nowadays meta. I witnessed quite a few versions, some running the Baku the Mooneater and Gloom Stag, while some run the good old mix with a few new cards.
I have builded this version and so far it performed pretty good for me. I am already in legend and have 100% win rate after 4 games (2x against control warrior, tempo rogue and cube lock). Of course, this needs more testing and maybe some changes, but I think this is a really good core for this archetype.
The win condition is to outvalue your opponent with Hadronox when against control or to survive against aggro by building a big wall of taunts.
There are no other beasts in the deck except the Hadronox and I also didn’t include Malfurion the Pestilent (because he summons beasts) to make sure you summon Hadronox with Witching Hour. Spiritsinger Umbra is probably too greedy and also makes the Oaken Summons a bit clunky, if you need the taunt instead, but together with Witching Hour, it provides really great value and it also combos nice with Rotten Applebaum, if you need an instant heal (btw, if you have Umbra on the board and use Corpse Raiser on some of your other minions, it won’t proc the deathrattle, so don’t do that in case you don’t already know).
