Solid deck! Just went on a win streak of five, and lost it to a Warlock.

    Thanks!

Replace Stone Sentinel with Grumble then we have a viable deck. Can’t see two small taunts doing any good at turn 7.

Well, while I do think Stone Sentinel is a dubious inclusion, I don’t think you get that it also summons 2x 2/3 taunts when you play Shudderwock (as long as you played an elemental the turn before). I would personally replace it with a lower curve minion. Maybe Funglemancer.

And a Fire Elemental ? I put it instead of Stone Sentinel and it gave me some games.

IMO, the reason that author didn’t include powerful element minion such as Fire Elemental & Blazecaller is because both minions’ battlecry ability will be triggered by the Shudderwock while the target will be chosen randomly. For preventing these shameful display (facing urself or ur important minions on the board), author eliminate any possibility of negative consequences from Shudderwock. I would totally agree with it.

BTW, I think the most core mechanism of this deck is using Shudderwock to repeat the battlecry from Prince Kelesth, which if it success, would grant u a significant buff for the rest of minions in ur deck. However, I suspect the stability of such mechanic since it require the player follow strict order of playing critical minion(Prince -> Shudderwock) and this deck has insufficient card drawing methods.

In a deck like this, Shudderwock *should* be played the turn after dropping an Elemental – it’s not the Keleseth boon you’re really after but generating a wall of 6/6 minions, one behind Taunt/Divine Shield, thanks to Saronite Chain gang and Tol’vir Stoneshaper.

Mind Control Tech and Zola are interesting with Shudderwock – steal opponents minions (if they’ve got a wide enough board) and potentially add a new Shudderwock to your hand; you don’t really want Grumble on the Shudderwock turn with this.

Oddly I was tinkering with something similar last night; few more Elementals though – hadn’t considered MC Tech… I called the deck (perhaps predictably) “Elementary my dear Wockson”

You don’t actually want to bounce your ‘wock back with a deck like this; you’re building a wall (hence Stone Sentinel and Tol’vir Stoneshaper). Zola should give you a second wall.

Just don’t play Hagatha before the Shudderwock!

Thank you CD001 for the tactic explanation. Now I think the mind control tech + shudderwock combo could be a good answer toward abusive Warlock’s reviving demon army on board. However this assumption require sufficient field test to valid it.
