Mulligans

General Mulligans

You will keep these cards in ALL matchups, in addition to the cards in the other matchup tabs, depending on the matchup.

Farsight may seem out of place, but it is a valuable tool to accelerate large cards like Primordial Drakes into play earlier than usual.

Aggro Mulligans

Keep Healing Rain ONLY against Hunters.

Combo Mulligans

Just try to combo off faster than the mirror.

Control Mulligans

I would classify Cubelock as a control deck in most circumstances, so this mulligan includes how to Mulligan against Warlocks. Keep Oozes vs Warriors and Warlocks, not Priests. Hex is good to keep against warlocks, nothing else.

This is my version of Shudderwock Shaman, that has currently brought me from rank 5 to rank 2. Ivebeen testing this deck nonstop since the day after the expansion dropped (I had a lot of work to do the night of and morning after release). I think this deck is incredibly good, and it has been very fun and rewarding to play. Currently, my Cubelock, Control Priest, Warrior (Odd Quest control, Rush), Rogue (Tempo, Baku aggro, Miracle), aggro Paladin, and aggro Hunter matchups have been favorable, with my main struggle being against Spitefull decks and other aggressive midrange decks. This deck has begun to pop-up a little more over the past day or two as people are catching onto its success, and I am positive this deck will become more refined as time goes on.

Another favorable aspect of this deck is how easy it is to tech in cards to improve certain matchups. Currently, the weapon-removal suite has been extremely successful for me and won countless games, but if you don’t see many Paladins, Mages, Warriors, and Hunters I suppose you may want to cut the oozes. Zola the Gorgon is another possible flex slot as it is good vs most decks, but exceptional vs none. If you happen to run into a lot more Hunters than previously anticipated, feel free to cut Zola for another Tidal Surge, although Baku Face Hunter is already one of your best matchups. If you face a lot of cubelocks, you may want to consider Earth Shock to silence those pesky Possessed Lackey.
