why galvanizer when only mech is mecchathun
If you use both galvanizers with Mecha’thun in hand on 10 manna you can Mecha’thun, Blood Bloom, and Cataclysm.
It’s a part of the combo.

Why lackey is in this deck?
You need to draw your entire deck to win, so I would presume it’s merely another card that helps to cycle through your deck faster. And it’s a 2 for Defile.
My god this is a strong deck – I can easily see some variation of this being around going forward
