General Mulligans
Arcanologist is always good. 2 mana 2/3 , draw a card.
You can even try to keep babbling book if you have a nice hand.
Other mulligans include this one.
Control Mulligans
Burgly Bully increases your odds against priests.
Skulking Geist against Jade.
MY CHOICES
Antonidas:
Archmage Antonidas is an insane card. Don’t cut it because “REEEEEEEE it’s a control deck, not a burn deck!”, he can save you. For real.
I won many games by doing:
- Archmage Antonidas + Frost Nova , or
- Doomsayer, and Archmage Antonidas + Spell the turn after.
Don’t think it’s only a control matchup card. Currently tempo decks can even win on late game.
Burgly Bully:
Burgly Bully is a nice 5 drop.
- It improves the Priest matchup (worst one).
- it gives you coins for Archmage Antonidas.
- it gives you coins for an early Frost Lich Jaina and so on (against tempo decks, after a doomsayer, after a weak turn… or priest).
Cabalist’s Tome:
Cabalist's Tome is the greediest choice. Why? Because you have several spell combos and because this is an highlander deck. 1 copy of each card. 2 blocks, 2 barriers, 2 blizzards, 2 flamestrikes and so on might be good enough.
Dirty Rat:
Dirty Rat is the only way you win against quest mage.
It’s good also against aggro decks, after a doomsayer, or when your aggro opponent is out of cards (turn 3 on avg in current HS).
Spellbreaker:
Spellbreaker is like… why not? It’s a silence effect, i don’t want to lose to a Bonemare, to a Stegodon Steed, to an Ysera (to a Marin, LUL). It really improves your matchup against big priest. Helps a lot against mid range-ish too.

Even in the highlander deck, Solia is not used. Bad legend forever.
Yea Solia is not what you want
I don’t think so. I use a similar decklist and solia is a great card. You can use it with flamestrike for board control or, sometimes, with the kazakus potion on turn 7 whic give you an incredible value . I run also pyroblast as finisher.
It’s a different deck, solia is not what you want here
What about Manic soulcaster ?
Manic is a good card but this deck doesn’t need more value
