Mulligans
Midrange Mulligans
These 5 cards are powerful in the right times, which is most of the time. Starting with the Hatchet is a powerful 2 mana weapon that it's battlecry is practically not a thing because 99% of the time you have a beast on board. The reason why I chose Hyena over some other choices is because of other choices is because of the combo you can do with Springpaw to instantly kill off 4 beasts and give your Hyena max potential. Spirit of the Lynx is EXTREMELY powerful because it combos with almost every card in the deck. Take Lesser Emerald Spellstone for example, say you have it fully upgraded and it's 5 mana summon 4 3/3 wolves, but if you have a Spirit on board, it becomes summon 4 4/4 wolves, and if you have 2 Spirit of the Lynxes on the board it becomes summon 4 5/5 wolves for 5 mana. That's literally a 5 mana 20/20. So overall I think I made this deck fairly well, even if you can't combo any of the cards together, the cards are still really good on their own.
I made a deck that reflects the elements of Midrange hunter while adding a few other cards most notably from Rastakhan’s Rumble and have gone on insane win streaks with. Oh, and also it’s fairly cheap dust-wise.

I swapped Head hunter’s axe for eagle horn bow. With all the secrets it’s easy to get it to proc and 3 damage feels a lot nicer to face than 2.
I swapped Spirit of the Lynx for Revenge of the wild. More board control at a crucial moment, probably grants more overall stats, and can be used to feed your scavenging hyena a lot more, again granting more stats.
I swapped Flanking strike for Baited Arrow. It’s annoying that you need to overkill to summon the 5/5 so on paper it doesn’t seem as good as the flanking strike that always guarantees you the 3/3. The real advantage is that the 3 damage can go face.
Overall a really nice deck built around getting a big hyena and smashing it into the opponents face. Seems to work a fair amount of time too. One drawback is no card draw. Maybe a call of the wild or even a casual subject 9 with a re-tweak of what secrets you carry would work.
