Having played more I realized that the deck could actually use some weapon removal but I would not really know what to replace honestly.

Possibly switch out an applebaum for harrison? A beetle for an ooze?

I have since played a LOT with this deck and the meta shifted even more towards not having too many weapons, so it didn’t bother me recently. But I would think the same; however, both of those are too good. There’s a lot of synergy going on. I’d probably go with the 3 mana gluttonous Ooze instead of one of the Twilight’s Call – also I’m playing with 2 Bonedrakes instead of the Mirage Callers. It makes all the difference!
But thanks for your suggestions, in this deck beetle -> Ooze might also be good, it’s just that without Mirage Caller a lot of the combos won’t work your way that easily and e.g. the Applebaum has saved me countless times, so in “my” version it wouldn’t be possible.

When exactly are you supposed to play Alex? Other than activating my Duskbreakers, it’s always a dead card.

Quest Priest is so good right now. I’ve subbed out x2 Mirage Caller for x2 Bone Drake, just to make sure my Duskbreakers are online for those pesky aggro decks. I also subbed out Mind Control for an extra Shadow of Death as Mind Control wastes a whole turn when i could kill the big threat and still have mana left to play something else. I suppose Mind Control could be good against the mirror matchup.

I seem to be doing pretty well with thid version so far climbed from rank 10 to rank 7 pretty fast.

Mainly on the Quest Reward, but it depends on the situation and the Deck your facing… Be creative!!!

Kibler had a dragon quest before WW that had a similar feel to this, glad to see the archtype can still work as i had a blast with that deck

I played a community deck that was very different but also quest oriented last month, mostly because I saw that coffin crasher didn’t really see any play so far. So then I realized how much value there is in Amara + Zola. I created my own version of that one and it has some similarities to this one but also some big differences. Didn’t play enough yet to really say if it’s good enough but I think it pulls its weight so far. Has some cool combos that actually worked out often for me so far. Maybe I am going to upload it later

Why not publish your deck so we can discuss here and maybe help u to improve it?

Yeah, that was the plan, I just forgot. Duh. Plus, I currently have problems with hearthstone crashing all the time on my computer so I am playing mostly from my iPad, which contributed to that I guess 😉 Will do so soon, planning on polishing it a bit tonight. Just too weak at the beginning of the game unfortunately, I have the feeling it has a few combos that are just too clunky in there (making you draw too many combo pieces and then having to play those without comboing because you have nothing viable in hand when you’re unlucky).
Looking forward to getting other peoples’ opinions though!

Altight, there we go, finally had a chance to get around to exporting the deck. It’s too slow and lacks a bit of draw imo, you can crush slower decks with 5 amaras at times but against even warlock you just get steamrolled. Needs more refinement for sure!

Oh wow, I played both for a while now and this one actually fixes the issurs where mine falls short. Very nice deck indeed!

Sry for the late response. I like this build that fully exploit the benefits of Priest class dearhrattle cards. I would try it later and share the experience with u. Thx u.

This deck is great. Went on a ten win streak and 6/10 of those were people just giving up after I dropped Uncle Bene

Having a lot of fun with this deck! Played it from rank 5 to rank 4 so far. Very cool to use the quest and the Archbishop in a deck that can actually win!

This deck is strong. Period. I’ve beaten pally, cubelock, spiteful druid and more. Was stuck at rank 5 for a couple weeks and have gone 6-0 with this deck since, moving into mid-rank 4. I subbed out 1 mirage caller for a bone drake.

Mirage callers out, you don’t need them, play bonedragon instead, 1 rotten applebaum out for 1 skulking.

Something different, fun and actually viable? Thumbs up

    Zola replacement?

    • Sovereign
      May 20, 2018 at 7:30 pm

She’s a pretty important part of this deck, but you could use a Youthful Brewmaster but that would make it so you don’t have a 8/8 taunt on the board.

        May 21, 2018 at 12:25 am

Baleful Banker would also work for the extra 8/8 Taunt and 40 health although it doesn’t sit in your hand like Zola’s copy. Mind you, you can have 2x Baleful for double heal. Might also work as a replacement for Benedictus in fatigue matches.

Its fun to play, mulligan is not obvious for me yet, especially against aggro, as the quest can be achieved quite easily and is a huge game changer.
Probably the list is to change in the few weeks to come if it becomes a good deck in the meta to come.
Benedictus is great after the quest is completed.

not enough SWD`s, not enough dragons

    • MattH
      May 20, 2018 at 3:04 pm

There is another version which ran 2 Bone Drakes. The SWD can be obtained from Shadow visions as well, it only really matters alot for an early mountain giant.
