The high health 1-drops that can stick to the board are very valuable in the early game where you can utilize your hero power on 2 to take control of the board. The 3 mana 3 3 is also a very useful card cycle in transitioning to the mid-game where you can utilize the elemental synergies. Mulliganing for Kirin Tor Mage and a secret, especially explosive runes, is usually worth keeping as the tempo of getting a 4 3 and a secret that your opponent has to play around is very valuable.This iteration of Odd Mage features a decent early game comprised of Mana Wyrm and Black Cat as well as the elemental package of Fire Fly, Glacial Shard, and the late game Blazecaller. Not every card in this deck has tons of synergy, but instead, it is focused on strong tempo cards that curve out well and backed up by the 2 damage hero power.
