Hello everybody, I just wanted to share my HadroTaunt Druid decklist which brought me from rank 3 to Legend with almost 85% win rate.

I didn’t play much this month at all cause I’ve been very busy, but I can tell you that in this meta, this deck rocks!

The deck seems really solid, but needs a lot of thinking when it comes to choose between ramping, drawing, armoring up or setting a taunt minion. In my opinion, the key is to survive until you can play Hadronox + naturalize: most of the time, this is gg. I run one Masterk Oakheart cause it helps on drawing Hadro; of course it’s better to play it at turn 10 with naturalize again. Another important thing is, as always, to understand/identify your enemy deck and his possible “slow turn”: sometimes it can be really good to “risk” a Hadronox drop at turn 9, but it becomes insanely strong if you are quite sure he does not run any silence, cause then you can play naturalize with more flexibility. Ofc, as all druids deck, it does not have any removal, so board presence is a must. There would be many other things to say, but I guess those tips are enough to start. If you need any other clarification, just comment and I’ll try to answer as soon as I can.

Good Luck everybody!

    Hey Maverick,
I tried your deck pretty great and it works out pretty great but I was wondering why there aren’t any 2-attack minions in the deck to synergize with Oakheart. Since there aren’t too many 2-attack minions that would synergize with this deck, I considered just taking him out because the value wasn’t at max potential. If there are any suggestions that would be great! Anyways, I think that this deck makes Druid an amazing class to play in not only Wild format but the Standard one as well.

    Thanks again,

      Hey Bunmann!
First of all, I’m happy to hear you are enjoying the deck ^^ about tour question, I use Oakheart Just as a “second” hadronox, in the case I dont draw it. It can be really frustrating to loose a match Just cause hadronox is in the last 3-4 cards of your deck. So, that’s why I use him. I saw some versions of my hadrodruid in the HCT lists and I noticed that many people did the same. One thing I changed is one wrath to one Tar creeper slot, I feel better like that, cause hadronox became more powerful and I have more elasticity during the first turns.

What is your strategy when it comes to cubelock? I play cube in wild and I can’t really see anything in this deck that would really help the matchup. I plan on making this deck soon so do you have any tips?

Well, I didn’t try this deck in wild, and I’m pretty sure it would need some adaptations…. but, in anycase, the strategy would be the same as the one vs cubelock in standard: u really need to put as many taunts as you can in the board, slowing down his doomguards (if he is enough lucky to summon them in the early game, if not we have a massive vantage) and then, hadro make it a very easy matchup, cause he can’t resist to 4-5 hadronox deathrattle. One important tip against lock, is to mulligan for naturalize: generally locks’ hand are pretty big (8-9-10 cards), so it can be really useful to make him overdraw and burn somen key cards.

Anyways. I repeat that I should try this deck more in wild, but I didn’t have time at all.
