I was playing this deck yesterday. It’s challenging but fun.

There are a large number of ways of winning with Elise/floop/florist.

The deck heavily relies on nourish though, if they’re both in the bottom half of your deck it’s very hard to win; this happened three times in 3 games for me.

Totally agree! The required skill is huge. Once you get used to this archetype you can rock the ranks.
You need good decisions: when to Floop, when to Florist, when to Elise. Really depending on the matchups.
Looks like one of the better lists out there. Love it.

Exactly why I like it so much. So many decisions throughout the game.
The list I was playing had Jepetto instead of bees. I’m not sold on Jepetto though, it’s sometimes a dead card clogging up your hand which isn’t ideal when you’re trying to Elise.

Whats the best use for Dreampetal Florist ? Considering that your opponent will kill it when you pass your turn, is it better to duplicate it with Elise, or use it first, taking the risc of having a zero cost Elise (What I think is kind of useless)?

Florist is mainly used to reduce the cost of maly with Elise being a decent second. Manipulating your hand throughout the game is part of the skill/enjoyment of the deck. If she hits Elise it’s a bit annoying but still helpful on occasion for being able to dump more of your hand.

Worst case for Florist is floop which doesn’t do anything really. Sometimes you might just want to play a flooped Florist if it guarantees hitting Maly. Sometimes you have to take a chance of a 50/50.

I have actually played a version without Florist and there is an argument that you don’t need her. Often 1 Maly and 4 moonfires is enough. Particularly as you can play Maly and then on the next turn double flooped Maly + Swipe and 4 moonfires.

It’s worth checking Old Guardian’s video on Maly Druid that he uploaded yesterday on YouTube. He does a good job of explaining the different ways this deck can get lethal.

I’ve watched Old Guardians video. There are a lot of ways to play with this deck, and its not a brainless combo deck like old Shudderwock’s…
