Mulligans
General Mulligans
These are the cards I typically try and mulligan. Mostly stuff to help me actually be able to play when the match starts, hoping to draw the three legendaries later in the game.
This is the first deck I’ve tried to make to actually start climbing the ladder (never been above 18 before – usually just have fun in the solo modes and tavern). I got extremely lucky today and picked up Shudderwock and a Gold Hagatha and I had gotten Grumble a while back. I’ve been crushed by some Shudderwock/Grumble combos so I wanted to try and make my own. Basically, you wait to play Shudderwock until after you’ve played Grumble (and hopefully some Lifedrinkers, Saronite Chain Gangs and Murmuring Elementals). This gives you more Shudderwocks and they all only cost 1 mana! This combo obviously takes a while to pull off so I included some spells for surviving (Feral Spirit, Earth Shock, Hex, Lightning Storm, Crushing Hand) and Hagatha. I’ve won some matches just with Hagatha (again, in the lower ranks) – she’s the reason I included low cost minions like Firefly and Glacial Shard – cheap spell generation.
I would really appreciate any feedback to help me make this deck better. I don’t have dust to afford any more legendaries (I don’t have any other shaman legends, sorry Kalimos, but I do have some neutral legendaries.
