Well, basically I’ve played wire’s ctrl-list to climb back up after season reset. 77% winrate on wire’s list. But I’ve thought, why not use the Spirit Echo with the jadepackage? And what should I say? it works totally fine.

in comparisson to wire’s list (that you can find here) wiRer’s N’Zoth Control Shaman – Top 50 Legend (April 2017, Season 37) this list has:

– less heal
– less taunts
-/+ less valuetargets from Stonehill Defender (which also makes it alittle less dependend on him in ctrlmatchups)
-/+ “less” potential lategame due to “no-White Eyes-stacking” BUT in practice even argueably better lategame.
+ more flexible due to more targets for Spirit Echo
+ no clunky 10-mana-card
+ way more tempo/ better curve

what does that mean?
– Well obviously you should be winning the direct duel, because you can Hex and Devolve his deathrattles while all he can realy Hex and Devolve is Aya Blackpaw and spirit echo’d minions, but even if you can’t get a single spirit echo of you still go up to 6/6’es what is enough. But you’re going to get more than one of anyways because you usually won’t spiritecho the turn you play your minions, but the turn you trade with them so you definitly get value.
– due to less heal/taunts your winrates against hunter are worse than with wire’s. against aggro that s not a problem cause you just spam your controlestuff, but against hunters you need to get your jades going, cause otherwise he ll heropower you to death while you have no board whatsoever.
– due to the stronger/more reliant curve due to jades your winrate against questrogue is better, if he s not having the nuts-quest you often have 4/4-jades or sth already when he finishes the quest.
the rest of the matchups are preeeety much the same. maybe alittle better vs silencepriest, but you should win this matchup with both decks anyways due to devolve and hex and taunts.

best valuetarget for Spirit Echo is obviously Aya Blackpaw (but most of the time your target will be Stonehill Defender+ Jade Spirit)
best anti-aggro-target is obviouslyDoomsayer
best target vs combodecks is Hallazeal the Ascended , but it s alittle risky, cause yes, combodeck atm basically means mages and mages can Polymorph , but mages don’t run Polymorph atm, so they can basically only get it via Primordial Glyph or as ctrl via Babbling Book which is quite unlikely. so if you have the board and assume that combo will go off soon use halla+ echo preemptively, IF they poly it, it  slows down the combo and they usually cannot afford that.

final tipps, tricks and thoughts:
1. this is v. 5 of this deck other cards that were once in this deck and were excluded and why:
second jade chieftain yes it is a jadecard and yes it gives taunt, but it felt like the second one is to clunky, it improves your matchup vs controledecks, but it feels like it s to slow
second Volcano if you re facing alot of mages and hunters get a second volcano cause it combos great with halla vs mage and hunter and vs hutner it s a reat boardclear cause they usually have a wide variety of highhealth/lowhealtminions but this card is pretty much dead in hand when you re ahead on board.
second Jinyu Waterspeaker don’t know what to get out for it.
two hotspringguardians it was in the first version, but i realy don’t like them, yes they seem so great vs aggro, cause nice statts, taunt and heal, but you often won’t be able to sue the heal cause it s basically “to early to heal” ifyou play it on curve. and you often do not realy want to heal your jades, cause you just run them in and spawn a bigger one than the one before.
2. what I am not sure about are the stonehill defenders . yes, they re often a great additional deathrattle for spiritecho, but you don’t realy have that great outcomes on shaman if you re not playing n’zoth, but i just love the versatility of them (i kind of disagree when ppl say discovering is basically worth the same as drawing a card, because you don’t just discover any card, you know it will be a minion and you know it will be a taunt and is often giving you matchwinning resuluts that you could not have gotten via drawing a card)

So if you have any ideas or just liking the deck, feel free to coment and like.
