Special Characteristic of the deck

The Deck overall is the old classic build for a Tempo Mage deck, but this one is trying to make use of the value that can be generated through Mana Cyclone, which can really help to instantly full your empty hand if used correctly.

In order to do so, the deck has more 1 and 0 cost spells than usual, which also synergize well with the card draw potential of Stargazer Luna,  the nerfed (but still ok) Mana Wrym, and Archmage Antonidas.

Goal of the deck

The goal is of course to burn down your opponent using the spells in your deck and those generated through other effects.

Archmage Antonidas is particularly effective to do that against Control decks, and you should try to get as much value from it as possible.

General Mulligan

In general your priority should be to have at least a 2 drop, like Mana Wrym or Sorcerer’s Apprentice if you feel confident that your opponent won’t have removal. (keep in mind her combo potential with a lot of 1 mana spells and try not to waste it!)

And in addition to that 3 drops like Kirin Tor Mage (with a secret) and card draw could also be good (expecially against Control).

Against Token Druid you probably want to keep Cinderstorm to melt those tokens.

Against Rogue Frostbolt is a good keep to remove the early threats.

Conclusion

And that’s pretty much it.

The deck goal is pretty simple, but do not expect your normal brainless aggro deck. To play this one at his best you should learn how to manage his resources during the game and when to start to ignore the board to focus face.

The list is a first attempt at it, so I will gladly accept suggestions 🙂
