Whenever I see decks with literally ZERO cards from the new expansion, I have to ask why the hell do you even bother posting? This is not a “Rastakhan post-nerf” deck, this is a fossilized “Pre-Rastakhan” deck which if anyone wants to play can look up in the previous season’s postings.

We bother posting it because it’s played in Rastakhan post-nerf meta, and player achieved a high Legend rank with it in a Rastakhan post-nerf meta. Not pre-Rastakhan, not 5 months ago, but a few days ago.

We post decks that are relevant in the current meta. Yes, anyone can jump 30 pages back and look at the decks from 6 months ago, but how could a player know which of those decks still work?

So what that it doesn’t have new cards? Are you implying that we shouldn’t post meta decks without new cards? That would be straight up stupid. It means that we wouldn’t post anything if an expansion wasn’t very impactful?

Oh I thought players post their own decks, didn’t know admins were finding and posting the decks.
Anyways point taken, sorry for the sour-ness of my post, didn’t realize it sounded that sour.

the deck literally revolves around big spells and big drops the only matchup where zihi helps you is any mecha-thun-deck in every single other matchup you’re hurting yourself more than you hurt the enemy.

There are so many mechathuns/OTK-combo oriented decks in the meta right now. Zihi is useful in every single matchup when used right and it only drops you to 6 mana (for next round after zihi) which is where mage is the strongest. Only spell you cant play is flamestrike. So you are not hurting yourself
