Mulligans

General Mulligans

  • These cards make up the "bread and butter" for the deck. For the turn 1 combo, you cast Innvervate into Alarm-o-Bot to bring out a massive minion. Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound is hands down the best target for Alarm-o-Bot.
  • There are only two cards that can answer Y'Shaarj on a turn 1 play (and the monster that will come at the end of your turn); these are Sap and Naturalize.
  • Alternatively, you may cast Elder Longneck if alarm-o-bot is not available.
  • Tortollan Forager is all-around a great turn 2 play (don't use a coin to play it turn 1). Wrath is great for early removal to help put the game in your favor.
  • of every deck I've ever played, this deck will make your opponent cringe if you get the turn 1 alarm-o-bot.

Aggro Mulligans

  • Swipe is a game changer versus aggro but use it wisely. Earthen Scales helps reverse damage delt.
  • For Alarm-o-Bot targets, I chose Baron Geddon, Soggoth the Slitherer, and Hogger, Doom of Elwynn as ideal targets versus aggro. Hogger (not a bad choice but it's an option) can beat on things & produce little taunt guys to slow your opponent down.
  • Healing touch will be your bestfriend in this matchup.

Control Mulligans

The general mulligans are great for this matchup however Y'Shaarj is weaker versus control as it can be killed by spells. Soggoth the Slitherer, Tyrantus, Ysera are all great Alarm-o-Bot targets versus control because they cannot be targeted by spells or hero powers. Ysera has a big butt (12 health) and 4 attack will dodge priest removal spells.

I was inspired by the wild deck Aviana + Alarm-o-Bot list and took it a step further into standard but the challenge would be to create a deck that can survive the format (at least casual play) and not be such a heavy “hit or miss”-type deck.. This deck (contrary to your beliefs), isn’t a hit or miss deck. It has the removal spells & threatening minions to survive long enough to stabilize (assuming you don’t combo). You may find it difficult beating many Tier Ladder decks such as Pirate warrior or Quest rogue . Turns 3 & 4 seem to be the sweet spot for this deck. The cost of this is rather expensive but the majority of these cards will stick around for good.

I got the idea… but still to slow to play. It depends if you are lucky and be able to play the alarm bot
