Hey jade druid, want cheap effective defensive card to go along that auctioneer card draw?
Yeah I would like that a lot.

Did we really need and want this card? it is consistently strong against maky machups, and synergizes extremely well with Jade, can be played as a 1-mana spell in Maly, token, or whatever broken archetype Druid will throw at us this expansion.

Druid cards usually do 1 thing out of 2. This, however, strengthens your board presence, increases your surrvivability and possibly cycles with auctioneer WHILE making the auctioneer harder to remove at the same time for 1 mana. Insane card.

Mark of the Lotus didn't see play and I think it fits Jade better. Why would you play this, when you can play another Jade card which improves all your Jades and giving you a new body with the buff?
I think this card is just good.

But with Maly? Why should it be good there?

You are just totally right - I apologize, what I wrote did not really make any sense. I guess I just became a little bit paranoid about any new Druid/Shaman cards that can fit into jade archetypes.

And of course Maly will not run it, I have absolutely no idea why I wrote that :D

It's for beast Druid which may actually be viable this set

At first I thought this card on its own was rather weak, but surprisingly I found this card to synergize well in a jade deck with auctioneer. The extra armor gained from the spell works wonders when played against a taunt warrior.

Quote: "Earthen Scales is rotating out" ... Ummmm... isn't it from Un'goro?
