Zul’jin Card Review

It looks like a lot of players are underwhelmed with this card, but I honestly think that’s how Hero cards should look in the future. Well, maybe not EXACTLY like that, but I won’t cry when the days of infinite or insane late game value cards like Deathstalker RexxarFrost Lich Jaina or Bloodreaver Gul'dan are gone. I had my fun with those cards, but in general, they aren’t healthy for the meta, as they basically force everyone to have an infinite win condition OR a combo win condition to win the game. You can no longer play Hearthstone with a classic Control deck, like the oldschool Control Warrior, Control Priest or Control Paladin, simply because even if you pack a lot of value into your deck, a Midrange Hunter with Rexxar can still win the fatigue game against you.

Zul’jin is a different kind of Hero card. In this case, most of its power resides in the Battlecry, while upgraded Hero Power is just an icing on the cake. The effect to repeat all of the spells is very powerful. Yes, it’s kind of similar to what Yogg-Saron, Hope's End was, but his effect is much more predictable. Which usually means lower potential for a high roll, but also a lower potential for a low roll, if you know what I mean. Basically, the effect is more consistent. The effect would fit best into a Spell Hunter deck, which runs cards like Animal CompanionTo My Side!Lesser Emerald Spellstone, a bunch of Secrets etc. The deck also plays removal, such as Deadly Shot and (less commonly) Crushing Walls. Those would all be predictable, positive effects – you would end up with some nice board presence, a few Secrets in play and maybe even some minions removed. This is absolutely powerful, and a great swing that might let you win the game. Of course, some of the effects are less predictable, but they honestly should not impact the overall swing of the card. For example, Kill Command or Flanking Strike would pick a random target – so it might hit an enemy, but might also hit you or your minions. In the grand scheme of things, you will still summon much more than you would remove, but it’s something to keep in mind.

As for the Hero Power – dealing 2 damage to anything vs only to your opponent’s face might not seem like a big difference, but it’s quite good. You can still use it in the same way you would, but now you can also use it to protect your board or win the value war, especially in the matchups in which damaging face is not very effective, since they heal up like crazy (such as Odd Warrior). Of course, if it’s possible, you’d still want to switch that Hero Power into DK Rexxar’s one when possible, if you’re going for a longer game at least.

All in all, Zul’jin is a powerful Hero card and it will 100% see play in Spell Hunter. On top of that, it MIGHT be played in some slower Secret Hunter builds – after all, replaying all of those Secrets and Spellstones can be a nice late game win condition. While DK Rexxar is a better card in general, remember that it will rotate out quite soon and then Zul’jin will be the only option left. And honestly, it’s not a bad option at all.

Ok spell hunter is going to retire in few months? yes? Well you are wrong 30 spell hunter deck is gone in few months. This is the new spell hunter. This card is obviously a better version of yogg. In a class that already had amazing yogg synergy since most of its cards were buff beast hit your oponent or set a trap. And subject 9 was and still is amazing card for spell oriented decks.
The thing most people are missing is that their roc’delar is going to kind of retire. In wild rok delar used to run the ysharaj package. Now this dude is the main powerhouse of your spell deck build so even rok’delar decks wil want him.
But he can shine on his own with cards like subject 9 and yogg the new discover spell minion if you have a weapon equipped. and the grimstreet bonus. I am not shure if lock and load will not give you bette rresults than rok’delar.
And if hunter ever get a reprint of mind blash. despite the fact that it has head dmg to minion and your oponent face with this card you can double such effects. and you can do it if your mally survives a turn for a 0tk.
While the hero power may seem a bit weak. Deal 2 dmg is very versetile and it kind of fills in the weakness of your rexar heropower not giving you the aggresion to close the game.
And i wouldn’t count on trackings with this guy the extra copyes will be random so you can burn out tons of value.
Overal its a great card you can still play him with rok’delar and when rokdelar and the kobolds stone is gone you can just dust them. Unless you want to have a ysharaj deck. But hunters mark candleshot is preety good againts a one time 10/10 not to mention all the deadly shots and crushing walls.
So this is it guys. The control hunter decks you all have been asking for. That neither rok’delar nor deathstalker rexar could provide. And the rexar card was just some tons of extra value it really didn’t add on to the classes archetypes.

Hunter gets pre-nerf Yogg Saron and I think that is pretty cool to say the least. I say pre-nerf because Yogg body almost always died anyway, and this won’t be interrupted unless it kills you. You would just hold onto it and only play it if you’re losing, like Yogg. You would still run Rexxar, and you would simply never play this until you’re losing. That’s how you Yogg, bro.

It’s not random spells, it’s spells you have cast this game. That means you can just drop this it resummons your spellstone wolves, animal companions, refills you on 5 secrets and casts whatever else you casted that game. This is not something you need to keep like Yogg but more something like Bloodreaver Gul’dan

Think of the card like this
Shudderwock is a 9 Mana Cost Legendary Shaman Minion card
Battlecry: Repeat all other Battlecries from cards you played this game (targets chosen randomly).

Zul’jin is a 10 Mana Cost Legendary Hunter Hero card
Battlecry: Repeat all other spells from cards you played this game (targets chosen randomly).

  4. YOYOIOAN
    November 27, 2018 at 9:07 am

You guys do realise you can play this and Rexxar right. Just do this battlecry then swap over to Rexxar it’s not that hard

    • Lllllll
      November 27, 2018 at 3:57 pm

But then you lose the flexibility of being able to play Rexxar whenever you want for the battlecry or hero power and what if you don’t draw this until after Rexxar or even end of game so you don’t know whether to play this or wait. It’s also hard to draw both cards and play them conservatively.

      • Lllllll
        November 27, 2018 at 4:04 pm

        play *Rexxar or wait.
And most people want to get the most out of this card when they play it so you will ether have to wait a long time, until you have cast enough spells for this to be good or sacrifice it’s power to play this and Rexxar early.

This card is pretty good in Spell Hunter but it will die in 4 months so….I don’t know what to say.But to be honest a am a little bit disappointed.I mean Battlecry is cool yet HP is so boring. At least they could have added some Overkill mechanic to it.BTW can someone explain why Zuljin is not about aggro and instead midrange-control?

    • sina
      November 27, 2018 at 9:28 am

      wait what?
      u wanted more aggro tools?
heartstone is aggro stone for 4 years.
4 years aggro decks are top tier.
and u still demand more aggro tools wow.some player ruined the fun of heartstone.
we have turned our curse into our strenght none will survive your magic shall not save u.
these are aggro u hear them alot in ladder cuz most of player cant figure control decks and it need more skill thatn just droping low minions and be hope full for good draw for your oppenent .

        November 27, 2018 at 2:20 pm

We’re not saying everything needs to be aggro. I just don’t see why it had to be zul’jin who got this, he’s a Berserker style character with no cares about his own wellbeing. I love this idea for a Battlecry, and I love spell hunter but zul’jin wasn’t the right character for it.

      • Istros
        November 27, 2018 at 11:14 pm

DragonicDoom is right. And I didn’t say I wanted a Aggro card,I said why Zuljin is not a Aggro card.He is a berserker and he is definitly more fit to Aggro. And Zuljin has nothing to do with spells from what I remember from Wow/Warcraft.

        • DragonicDoom
          November 27, 2018 at 11:55 pm

Yeah the closest thing he does which is spell-like is his regeneration, which every troll has. I didn’t even want him to be a new rexxar, just a more aggressive hero card that shook things up and was different to others, since they all focus on tempo and control. Even if zul’jin was just, Summon 2 amani berserkers and his hero Power was deal 3 damage overkill refresh, all for 5 mana, I’d be fine. That sounds like trash but it at least fits zul’jin’s character. This just screams “we don’t care about the lore we just want you to buy packs and give us money”

  6. HardDecking
    November 27, 2018 at 8:40 am

The real question is, is this better than death stalker Rexar. To put it simple Rexar wins games on his own. This does not do that. Yes it gives you tons of value turn 10 but thats way to slow for most hunter decks. Yes it will see play but very little, you’d have to have a deck where this is better than Rexar and for spell hunter while this looks like the perfect fit the deck needs Rex to win.

    • Bglg
      November 27, 2018 at 9:37 am

Or, you just play both, and play this when you’re losing or play this first, then Texas after

      • HardDecking
        November 28, 2018 at 5:07 am

If you play both then you lose your game winning hero power. I know it sounds like I’m over exaggerating when I say game winning but I’m really not it gives you card advantage which you really need in hunter and big guys to play on the later turns. The amount of times players are able to keep up against control decks because they can keep playing the hero power until the control player can’t find an answer.

    • Bglg
      November 27, 2018 at 9:41 am

It’s also pre nerf yogg, which single handily ruined entire tournaments

  7. brandon
    November 27, 2018 at 8:40 am

Frist off you need to have played the spell in you deck for it to be cast it is not a random spell and if you play standard only 11/39 spells can back fire so far. with only 4 being able to hurt your hero.
    Arcane Shot *
    Baited Arrow *
    Bomb Toss *
    Kill Command *
the rest will only hurt you board.
Dire Frenzy (only if they have a beast)
    Explosive Shot
    Flanking Strike
    Grievous Bite
    Hunter’s Mark
    Toxic Arrow
    Wing Blast
of these cards how, many will you honestly play in you deck.

  8. TheThreather
    November 27, 2018 at 8:26 am

Okay so lets say you play some secrets with spellstones:
    – You get board full of secrets
    – you get 4 3/3s (double spellstone, both 2×3/3)
    – You summon 1-2 huffers/leoks/mishas
    – Deadly shots 1-2, destroying 1-2 enemy minions.
    – You have to either run tracking or/and the new beast drawing card to deeper into deck. Meaning you lose 6-12 cards in your deck.
    Result:
    – You gain 5 armor
    – You gain board full of small minions (2/4s to 4/4s)
    – You kill 1-2 enemy minions
    – You gain a few cards to your hand.
    – You gain board full of secrets.

Its a pretty good DK, most likely not as broken as rexxar because you’re forced to counter fatigue somehow and your hero power is way worse than Guldans. Id say 4/5

  9. Mysteroyalty
    November 27, 2018 at 8:12 am

While the Battlecry is pretty cool, I wish they had done a bit more with the Hero Power. If it also had something like ‘Overkill: Discover a Hunter Spell’ that would’ve made it a lot more interesting!

  10. DragonicDoom
    November 27, 2018 at 7:59 am

Huh… This is a very mixed card for me. It’s great for spell hunter and subject 9 secret hunter but other than that it’s kinda useless. The Hero Power is just upgraded mage with nothing else. Also spell hunter loses its 2 main cards in just a couple of months (Rhok’delar and DS Rexxar). I really wish Zul’jin was more like his Heroes of the Storm counterpart, more of an aggro berserker with extreme frailty. I know it’s difficult to make an aggro hero card without it being op but it feels like every hero card is either tempo or control. 5/5 for spell hunter, 0/5 otherwise.

  11. DukeStarswisher
    November 27, 2018 at 7:29 am

Yes. This card is amazing for spell hunter and will most certainly see play.

But when it comes to design, I think they really dropped the ball. I was very much hoping for something we haven’t seen in hearthstone yet.

    • Shurchil
      November 27, 2018 at 7:41 am

Same here. Dunno why people are hating about criticism.
I mean of course this card will see play. But it IS underwhelming. Admit it.
We will see fun and crazy plays with it. We will see people reaching #1 legend with it. But the game design of this card is weak. Period.

    November 27, 2018 at 7:00 am

Are you kidding me? Yogg was the only old god to be nerfed and it dominated tournaments until they finally hit him with the nerf hammer. You clearly don’t know what you are talking about.

    • Shurchil
      November 27, 2018 at 7:41 am

No one ever doubt that this card will see play. But from a game design perspective it is a weak card. For the last expansion of the current standard rotation people expected so much more.

      November 27, 2018 at 7:14 am

Actually it’s not that bad after play zuljin it basically give odd mage power without baku taking up a slot. If you think it’s bad don’t forget it can combo with the spell baited arrow on a 4 health minion.

Not great but 7 mana kill a minion and summon a 5/5 devilsaur I’d equate that to being nearly at value of firelands portal since the body is reliable. I’m looking at you furbolg and fungalmanceit can also go with ticket scalper so instead of 4 health can rush at 7 health and trigger overkill. Toss in the candleshot and you could knock off an 8/8 and draw 2 cards.

      • Lluadian
        November 27, 2018 at 7:16 am

Oops missed count won’t get overkill draw but can still knock an 8/8 off board.

  15. GlosuuLang
    November 27, 2018 at 5:39 am

The new Hero Power is quite bad, barely an upgrade over the starting Hero Power. You better get good value of the Battlecry to finish the game on the spot, or otherwise it’s not worth running this 10 mana card. I do like to build my Christmas tree and fill my board with Animal Companions.

spell hunt cant play in 2019 because it go to wild in april 2019 after that this card is 400dust

  17. Angrykatrine
    November 27, 2018 at 5:03 am

Would have been cool if Zul’Jin’s hero-power had a little overkill effect like: deal two damage / overkill: heal your hero for 1. Or something like that.

  18. Lluadian
    November 27, 2018 at 4:40 am

Hmm spell hunter run this and the dk that’d be useful since sometimes deathstalker ends up at bottom of deck. I can’t tell you how many fights could have turned if would just drew deathstalker.

This would make a good option to play before deathstalker if you have used the companions and spell stones, and it just slightly alters the hero power so can use to ping off minions as well.

Overall I’ll give this a 5/5 for spell hunter due to board refill and a great alternative to deathstalker if he’s in last half of the deck.

Btw the reveal video for this was awesome.

  19. Taznak
    November 27, 2018 at 4:11 am

Far weaker than the OP Death Knight hero cards (Jaina, Gul’dan, Rexxar) and their infinite value. This is a good thing for the health of the game. Not good right now, 5/5 when Death Knight hero cards rotate out next april.

  20. cgolaya
    November 27, 2018 at 3:39 am

Traps, invocations and new spells. Of course with less value but good sustitutive for Rexxar the next year,

  21. SadBoy
    November 27, 2018 at 3:17 am

hunter’s spell usually do these things: secrets, damage, summon some 4 cost value beast.
hunter’s secret is good, but using this card means opponents knows all your secret, but not a big deal since hunters secrets strongest part is the chain effect.
Damage is really bad here. Most spell of hunter do not specify enemy minion, meaning that it can damage anyone.
“summon some 4 cost value beast” mainly caused by Animal Companion and To My Side.

So this card Battlecry become: Fill your board with animal companion or 3/3 wolf, play 5 secrets and maybe also cast Cybertech Chip.

Yup looks pretty powerful if you can survive in late game WITHOUT direct damage spell

  22. Clapitch
    November 27, 2018 at 2:59 am

I agree that tracking will be horrible with it.. Through that if what you need is last high tempo impact to finish your opponent, you can still go for it to gain value from secrets and spellstone previously played

Actually it isn’t that important that kill command go in your own face, same goes for ultimate infestation randomly casted by grand archivist and yet you do it cause that’s not what matters and it’s still a great tempo

  23. Nidnam1252

I am so disappointed. Rexxar is rotating not this expansion but the next one. I heard rumours that the next hero card is for hunter. The hype was real for me! Rexxar is my favorite card and I tought the new hero card will be less powerfull, but come with a very cool effect. This hero card is not cool at all for me. Better luck next expansion I guess.

    • D00mnoodle
      November 27, 2018 at 2:43 am

I agree, the batllecry is interesting but the hero power is probably the most boring hero power of any hero card (i do like that it is not insanly broken late game value like gul’dan, jaina or rexxar. But they could’ve still done that without making it boring)

  25. Joseph269
    November 27, 2018 at 1:48 am

I know this sounds unreasonable but only play cards that have no random effects, such as Spellstone, Crushing Walls, Animal Companion, Secrets, etc. There’s really no need to include cards that will dispense randomly when Zul’Jin is played. (Kill Command, Tracking, Arcane Shot, etc.). There is the potential for a HUGE tempo swing with this card and I think it WILL be a good card well, because I’m optimistic about new cards. And hey, if y’all miss Rexxar you can always include him in your deck, as you can have 2 Hero cards in the same deck. And if you value the hero power of Deathstalker Rexxar more (which I do, let’s be honest, who doesn’t?), you can always play him after Zul’Jin. Personally, I’m going to make a deck based on Zul’Jin and include cards that have no random effects, including Deathstalker Rexxar. If you want to see my deck that I’m going to make, check my decks out on HSTopDecks, as I’ve already made some cool decks for the upcoming expansion. Oh, and they are theoretical and untested, so please be nice 😀

  27. Sammy
    November 27, 2018 at 1:40 am

Hey so i love hunter and realy at first when i looked at this card i way hyped, its YOGG. But now i see that it’s actually a little worse. Comes with no body and only gives hunter spells uve played, so yes u get secrets which is good but no real killer potential with like a lucky bloodlust or something. It could burst a bit with double to my side and animal companion. This would give u at best 3 Huffers and 2 leoks so 15 damage. I mean if u add secrets to the mix thats not that bad if ur opponent had no taunts. However the real power of this card is wild, where u play this guy and then DK rexaar for infinite value. Overall i think this card is a 3:(

    • Sammy
      November 27, 2018 at 1:51 am

P.S i miss calculated the burst it would be 18 not 15. However this said i actually think this card wont work in spell hunter that well. Why? Well, if u fill ur board with ur pets or unleash then the next time ur opponent attacks one of ur minions u will waste, snake trap, the 2/3 cobra trap, and if he goes face u will waste wandering monster and bear trap. U will need a semi empty board. Lastly we have to compare this to other DK cards for 10 mana like Guldaan, which has kinda a similar board fill effect however his hero power does 1 more damage and lifesteal. If any part of this card is underwhealming its the hero power.

      • Jawsborn
        November 27, 2018 at 7:41 am

Most traps will not activate if there is no space on board. Wandering monster and snake trap and venom strike trap will remain active until there is board space.

Secrets, Spellstone, Crushing Walls, Animal Companion, Deadly Shot if you’re going with Spell Hunter you got To My Side. The Tempo Swing can be great

    • Pengun
      November 27, 2018 at 5:56 am

You mentioned that this doesn’t come with a body. Well the one who casts the spell (i’m talking about the hero card) doesn’t die as easily, meaning that all of the spells will be cast.

just thought i’d point that out

      • Sammy
        November 27, 2018 at 3:34 pm

Thats a good point m8, however I am still really disappointed with the hero power ability not the actual battlecry, which can be strong late game.

  28. Shurchil
    November 27, 2018 at 1:25 am

Might work in Spell Hunter but I am disappointed. Why do Blizzard always support already strong and existing decks? Spell Hunter, Deathrattle-Decks, Zoo-Lock etc.
Why not support the midrange/tempo area more? Midrange hunter was one of the most iconic decks in the history of HS.
Also: Zul’Jin looks good on paper first but think about it: It chooses the targets at random.
Yogg saw some play in the past because it was a fun (and meme) card. But it never was competitive because of the random nature. Sure in hunter you have secrets which dont target anything and are a pure plus. But what about Flanking Strike? Hunter’s Mark? What about Tracking? Imagine it picks the wrong card and you throw away one of your win conditions. I dont know…I really dont want to be that guy who makes the card bad but at this point with the current state of the cards and game…I dont think Zul’Jin is the hero card we needed. And the hero power is also really underwhelming.
    2,5/5

    • CHAAAAAARGE
      November 27, 2018 at 1:27 am

I totally agree. This card doesn’t even feel like a Hero Card. Its Hero Power is nothing special really, no potential, it’s even worse than the regular Baku one. All this card’s power is in its battlecry. It makes no sense to print this a Hero Card. I really don’t know why they printed that…

Yogg was MUCH more than a meme card – it saw play in many competitive spell-heavy decks, primarily hunter (yogg-n-load) and tempo mage. I’m not passing judgement on this card yet, it it’s important to note that yogg was nerfed because of its competitive viability.

Pre-nerf Yogg was played competitively. It was basically a Hail Mary which you played when you had a lost position, and would save you like 20% of the time. This is a totally different card, a win-condition that you build up to. Certain spells have to be cut because they don’t work well here, and you’re relying on that swing turn to win the game. The Hero Power is disappointing, I agree. If you fill your board with Wolves and Animal Companions and then your opponent Twisting Nethers, well… you’ve probably lost that game.

Looks Like Dk Redcar Is gonna be the strongest hero card in the history of Hearthstone.
Because He Can Win Against Every Type Of decks. This Card Is Not That Great But I think We Should Not Underestimate This Card I Think People Will Come Up With Crazy Decks For This Cards Synergy

Will the spells be casted in order, or is it random?

    • SupHypUlt
      November 27, 2018 at 1:47 am

It’s most likely still of random sequence like all others before.

I think its a strong addition to spell hunter but you might need to remove some cards to minimize the rng (or dont play them until you play zul’jin). Cards like tracking would mill you if zul’jin replay them and cards like unleash the hounds might fill your board before it play your stronger cards.

So, it’s just a bad Guldan. Big deception, the Dk is just better now, and the spellstone rotate in April, so no reason right now to play him.

I like the card a lot and i think it adds a lot to hunter. Makes you REALLY think how you want to use your trackings in a game.

Battlecry is good obviously, though only the secrets and summon beasts part – cards like Tracking, Kill command etc – not very good. But that is one strong turn, which if enemy can deal with, you are mostly left with nothing.. unlike DK rexxar, who can outvalue most other decks.. so when Rexxar rotates out, this will be played a lot, but it is nowhere near its strength. Which is good I suppose:)

Lol somebody on another card thread was lamenting about how the design team will never support the spell hunter archetype, and here it is. Insta-craft. Fav card of the set. 12/10 good dog.

The 5 mana spell, discover a spell dude, secret guy. Those i think wont see at least that much play so far that they would be 4 or more star cards. Also i guess the 2 and the 3 mana spell COULD flop buuut… i highly Highly doubt it. Also i can see a point in this new hero being below 4 star card for that it has some negative synergies with tracking and couple other spells and anyways has a weaker heropower that the current hero. All and all i think this new hero will be a 4 star card anyways because i truly feel it is for sure powerful enough for spell hunter and will as a bonus slightly raise the skillcap of the deck.

I’d say run this with animal companions, deadly shots, secrets, and the spellstone. I think the other spells have too much variance to see a lot of play, but these develop board/ develop secrets/ kill enemy minions.

  38. Timeotheo
    November 27, 2018 at 12:28 am

If you’ve just played 3/4 different secrets, a buffed spellstone and an animal companion, you would get at the same time a very aggresive board and a good defensive wall with the secrets. The tempo swing is massive. I could even see it being played in a subject 9 aggressive hunter, just to get an extra push (though 10 mana might be a bit much for an agressive build – but well, some zoo did play Gul’dan for the exact same reason in the past).

I have mixed feelings about this card. Sure, battlecry effect is quite powerful and unlike Yogg you have some control over the spells. However, DK Rexxar’s hero power is so much stronger and more versatile. You almost always want to play DK as soon as possible and by that time Zul’jin is just a dead card in hand. His time will probably come after rotation.

I know. And honestly can’t wait for it or better, can’t wait for the shake of meta it will bring. Altough, Rastakhan seems like it could be quite a fun expansion.

I don’t see the greatness of this card actually, it might be good, it might be bad. Tracking will be horrible if cast by zuljin, you just mill your deck and kill command just might go anywhere. You will easily summon a full board though and a Christmas tree of secrets, crushing walls can also be good. I guess we will see the power level when released

      November 27, 2018 at 12:23 am

You’d absolutely play both in Spell Hunter, as they have different strengths. One is a long term, grindy, value play (DK) while this one is meant to be a finisher card that puts A LOT of the tempo on the board immediately.

“DK is better” isn’t a valid argument, because it’s not one or the other. You can just play both.
Just like tempo shudderwock runs both thrall and agatha.

Synergies aren’t as important as playing good cards. 2 bad cards that have synergy, you shouldn’t play. 2 great cards that have anti-synergy, you should still play.

Wow that hero power is soo incredibly boring holy shit. Also, this battlecry is beyond broken in wild with the 9 mana spell because it would summon 2 6/4 misha’s 2 3/4 leokk’s AND ESPECIALLY 2 6/2 chargers for a total of 12 instant damage. This is crazy…

Perfect in my Spell-Big Beast Hunter for a final push after early secrets, Rexxar, Big charging beasts, and Rhok’Delar.

5/5, perfect card for Spell Hunter.

      November 27, 2018 at 12:14 am

Got a similar deck, secret hunter with only 4 minions (Winterwisp, Krush, CD and Subject 9) then Rhok. This would be an interesting addition.

        November 27, 2018 at 12:21 am

Mine runs Oondasta, 2 CD and Krush. Might put in a Rat trap for one of the CD so I can play Master’s Call and draw all 3 (Oondasta, CD and Krush).

does not fit into spell hunter well anyway.. rexxar way better for that deck… this works well with secret hunter for example

      • Piterno
        November 27, 2018 at 1:43 am

It counts greater emerald spellstone as the spell played. So by the time you play this, this is filling your board with 3/3’s, casting 4 or 5 secrets, and possibly a kill command face. How does it not fit in spell Hunter?

BTW you can put both heroes in a deck. Like Thrall/Hagatha and Garrosh/Boom before him.
