General Information
Prince Malchezaar is the Prologue boss in One Night in Karazhan. You play as Medivh. Malchezaar wasn’t invited to the party and he isn’t happy about it. Use your abundance of overpowered spells to take down Prince Malchezaar and get back to your party!
- Prince Malchezaar starts with 30 Health & 30 Armor in Normal Mode, and 60 Health & 60 Armor in Heroic
- Medivh starts with 30 Health & 30 Armor in Normal Mode, and 30 Health in Heroic

How-to Beat Heroic Prince Malchezaar
The key to defeating Prince Malchezaar is generating a lot of value off of Archmage's Apprentice. You want to make copies of Medivh’s overpowered spells, especially Astral Portal, Arcane Power, and your various burn spells. The best way to protect your Apprentice is to use Mysterious Rune right after you play him. This can also get you a Duplicate that can double up the possibilities of multiplying your powerful spells.
The various Legendary minions you get from Astral Portal along with a Arcane Power buffed Flamestrike or Arcane Explosion can keep the board clear and eventually carry you to victory!

In the first paragraph of the “General Information” section it says that Malchezaar is the second boss of the first wing. He is actually the only boss in the tutorial wing of One Night in Karazhan.

Just a quick note, Prince Melchezaar also has Malganis in his deck. I encountered it in both normal and heroic yesterday (was really funny when I mirror imaged it)
