I dropped berserker for south-east captains and dropped horserider for disciple of cthun. Since adding disciple I’ve been able to get past taunts for that last bit of damage twice

I recon soon people will realise hobart is too slow as it doesnt buff the equipt weapon, whilst the buccaneer is weaker than faerie dragon which single handedly can take down mages. Patches definitely has a place in this deck however and brings the pirate synergy consistency to a consistent rate.

As a side note frothing berzerker is really weak imo – it either gets removed (so much direct removal available) or is a really bad topdeck when you loose board control eventually as it deals no immediate damage. Overall loothoarders are far better – smooths out draws so you arent topdecking rapidly.

Would commanding shout be viable? Playing at Rank 12, Dragon Priests shut this deck down with Wyrmrest Agent on turn one and two, so I’m trying to find ways to get around taunt. This deck is poor versus Renolock, so not much there. If so, the Berserkers could be swapped out with the commanding shouts. Finely is fine, but I don’t have him, so I kinda just ignore him. What could replace Hobart?

I think Hobart is great in this deck, I don’t think it’s too slow. As long as you don’t draw it last or something, I think it’s a great addition
