That’s actually a really good point, I haven’t thought about it. Activate the Obelisk Quest fits into the new Priest’s identity so well.

We don’t know exactly, but 10 AM PT is the standard release time. It’s usually within an hour of that. So that’s what I would expect.

Also, mobile release is usually a few hours later.

All of the Highlander synergies are from Year of the Dragon so they won’t rotate out. Adding another Highlander synergy would make them too strong.

I know that it’s a little unfair, but that’s how life works, I’m afraid. However, you should know that in the long term it’s positive thing for anyone. The more new / returning players they bring, the longer the game will stay relevant, which should be the priority for all players.

I also have a bunch of friends that I’d like to introduce to HS but never could, because they don’t want to spend a lot of money to get into the game. With a free deck, they can easily get to feel the game with a solid deck without having to spend anything at the start.

When did they log in? If they logged in on March 17 or later, they will still get it.

I mean, they would never give someone a viable deck for every single class (because then pack sales would drop so much). So a new player would have to pick something anyway, no matter when it is. Casual players probably won’t care what’s best and will pick the class they want. And those who care a bit more will google it and e.g. find this post 🙂

And the most likely reason why they didn’t wait and build competitive Ashes of Outland decks is that because they don’t want them to be TOO competitive. I think that those are meant to be a “starter” deck for new / returning players, Blizzard still wants them to buy packs from new set and upgrade the deck with them 🙂 I would hope that they will update them to include Ashes of Outland cards closer to Expansion #2 to keep them relevant.

It means that you get the cards just as if you crafted them or opened them in your packs. You can play them in other decks and yes, you can disenchant them if you wish to.

I feel that Mage is the best value, because you get two competitive Neutral Legendaries – Zephrys and Dragonqueen. And while someone would have to focus on Highlander if he wanted to take advantage of those, those cards have seen play in non-Highlander builds too (especially Zephrys).

It does not. It’s just another wording for “adjacent minion” or “minion next to it”. It was already used on some cards, e.g. Supercollider.

Although I think that the card would be more interesting if it also affected opponent’s board 🙂

Previously the run would be forced to finish, giving you the rewards for how many wins you got and your ticket would get refunded. But I don’t think that it worked like that during the last Arena rotation – I’m pretty sure that I could still play my deck. So I don’t really know what they will do now…

Correct, if you have no spells in your deck, it won’t draw anything. And yep, it tutors 3 spells. Yes, the card is strong, and so are the other Prime minions. I think that the reason is that you won’t even see them in lots of your games (first you need to draw the regular minion, then it needs to die without getting silenced/transformed, and then you need to draw the Prime version) so Blizzard wanted them to be impactful when you do find them. It’s a bit like Shaman’s older Legendary “White Eyes” – you shuffled a 5 mana 10/10 Taunt into your deck, which was obviously bonkers, but it wasn’t problematic because you usually drew it so late.

The Darkness didn’t trigger Secrets like Snipe or Mirror Entity (neither when played nor woken up), so I would assume it will work the same for Imprisoned Demons.

I think that I would have put her into Tier 3, but she’s definitely not great. Being forced into a single strategy from the get-go is not something you want. Forcing Dragons is a bad idea if you don’t get the right cards, and ignoring Dragons because you got some better comp = almost like playing without Hero Power.

Priest HoF’d cards are getting replaced immediately. As for the Neutrals, I would imagine that they will also get replaced, but maybe not immediately. Hall of Fame happens on Thursday, so we’ll see then.

You’re right, but to add onto your timeline – March 26 will indeed be HoF, but also Priest rework. Then, on April 1 (new season) the ranked system rework will drop.

You will be able to play through the prologue and unlock him on April 2, but the class won’t go live until expansion (April 7).

Yeah, that would be my guess too. Dungeon Run style adventures take a lot more work, and this one will be free too.

I hope that they will experiment a bit and release a new style of solo content later this year 🙂

Yeah, we had some issues with the card display and they bugged the entire expansion guide. I think that everything should be fixed now!

It’s going to be free. But we don’t know how it will look like yet. You know, whether it will be a simple story adventure like Galakrond’s Awakening, or something more like Dungeon Run, or maybe they will come up with something entirely new.

Yes, we are aware of that 🙁 Our deck builder was not made to support more than 9 classes (because come on, who would have thought) so the devs are trying to incorporate a new one right now, but it’s slightly more difficult than we thought.

We will try to get it working ASAP and I will make a post letting everyone know once it’s done!

Yeah, they planned to have casters on the venue, and casting from home is something they have to set up. And they obviously didn’t have time, because the “stay at home” announcement only came last evening/night.

I hope they will be able to figure something out, even if just for the Top 8.
