We wanted to get out a quick update – we’ll do another one after Aranna Starseeker gets released and the meta has more time to stabilize.

Yeah, but we knew that for a long time. Galakrond’s Awakening was a one-time thing that they won’t repeat every expansion.

The outcome is roughly the same. Double gold lasted for two weeks, even if you rolled all 60g quests, it would still be 840 gold in total – ~8.5 packs. And that’s like the best case scenario – if you didn’t min-max you would probably get like 700g. Even less if you were busy and missed some quests.

This time we’re getting 9 packs flat, which is probably better for an average player. But the obvious downside is that the gold is more flexible – you can always use it on something else or keep for the next expansion.

I don’t know, I still like it. But there are definitely cutest artworks in the game (1/1 Tabbycat token from Alleycat is my favorite).

Well, they were used together in both Highlander lists posted at the top. I played similar Highlander build a while ago with both of them and they indeed work very well together. I had T2 Bonechewer into T3 Guardian Augmerchant + Zephrys. Picked PW:S for tempo – had 4/4 with Divine Shield and Taunt, 3/2 and 2/1 on Turn 3 – opponent just conceded.

I’m nearly sure that it’s not a fixed number. Number of Legend players varies between seasons, servers and formats, so having a fixed number wouldn’t make any sense. Like, before the ranked changes, we usually didn’t even have 1k Legend players in Wild at the end of season, so just hitting Legend would give you 11 star bonus.

The deck is very good, we’re just sharing the decks that pro players posted in social media, and as it happens we didn’t see any Highlander Hunters.

Yes, if Bomb Warrior becomes more popular, Quest Warlock will become much weaker. It’s a terrible matchup for the Warlock and the worst thing is that you can’t really tech against (other than Ooze which you already run, but it’s not enough).

That’s because your star bonus is based on either the rank you finish at OR your MMR, whichever is higher.

For example, if you have a Legend player MMR and then you finish a season in Bronze (because you didn’t have time to play, for example), you still get 10 star bonus next season.

On the other hand, if you’re on a new account, you still have low MMR and you hit Legend during your first month, you will also have 10 star bonus, even though you might not have Legend MMR yet.

It probably means that your MMR jumped into the 11 star bonus category because of higher win rate.

But honestly, I would really like Blizzard to just explain how the 11 star bonus works in the new system.

The answer is most likely that they can’t cut animations completely without causing some errors.

And as for your second point – that’s exactly what they’ve tried to do multiple times already. For the second player’s turn timer to not start until everything is finished, or at least for each animation to add some time to second player’s timer. But every now and then a new card turns out to break it again.

That’s why I think that rework might be the best option. If they tried to fix the card 5 times and it still doesn’t work properly, then there’s probably nothing they can do about it.
