It does not. The card GIVES Lifesteal, but doesn’t have Lifesteal itself.

I’m not sure about Kingsbane after you give it Lifesteal and shuffle back into your deck. It depends on whether it looks at the base copy of the card or counts the buffs too.

Scaleworm doesn’t have Rush, so it wouldn’t work.

Why, though? It’s not much better than Curator, and while Curator is a good card, it has seen play only in a few decks over the ~1.5 years it was in Standard.

It looks like a strong card, but it definitely won’t be played in every deck.

And I’m 100% sure that it draws up to 3 cards.

There should be no reason not to, since it doesn’t specify what kind of card it draws. If it was “draw X, Y and Z minion”, then it would be a different story.

It wasn’t an official translation, we always update it when one gets released. We just updated this one.

Early translations are not always 100% correct grammatically, but they should at least be understandable ๐Ÿ™‚ We feel like getting the card out quickly so you can see it right away is more important than making the text box look clear.

Worgen Abomination

End of Turn effects trigger based on the order. So if Dreadlord was on the board first, it will trigger and then this will also shoot all of those minions for 2. If you play this first and then Dreadlord, it won’t work.

The Glass Knight

Blood Knight is a Classic card, so it won’t get rotated out.

Cobalt Guardian is a significantly worse card. Not having Divine Shield right away means that it just dies unless you combo it with a Mech immediately, and Mechs were a much harsher condition than healing. Paladin has lots of good healing cards, and had only two good Mechs (2x Shielded Minibot).

The Witchwood Card Review Part 8 - Rat Trap, Dire Frenzy, Dollmaster Dorian, Voodoo Doll, Splintergraft and More!

I know, I really like her too.

And to be fair, she’s not the WORST card ever, you probably could play her as a value tool in an otherwise meta Control Mage. It wouldn’t be a good choice, but it would be fun ๐Ÿ˜€

The Witchwood Card Review Part 8 - Rat Trap, Dire Frenzy, Dollmaster Dorian, Voodoo Doll, Splintergraft and More!

You’re right, why didn’t I think about it?

I still don’t think it’s that strong in general. It’s a tech – and countering Echo cards is a cool addition. If meta decks run Echo cards or just want to play a few cards per turn in the mid/late game in general, then this card will see play. If not, no. Trying to predict the meta is almost impossible.

Dire Frenzy

Minion you buffed, with the +3/+3 buff.

E.g. you buff a minion with base stats of 1/1, you get three 4/4 copies of it shuffled into your deck.

Technically not for free – for the cost of your health ๐Ÿ™‚

The Witchwood Guide, Release Date, Card Spoilers List, Monster Hunt

Nope, it was confirmed by the devs that Genn and Baku look at your deck before the mulligan – so you can’t put a Quest into Genn deck, it won’t work.

The Witchwood Guide, Release Date, Card Spoilers List, Monster Hunt

It’s Duskfallen Aviana, and no, the card is not fake. It’s listed on the official Hearthstone website.

We had the wrong translation earlier but we fixed it when the official one came out.

Rat Trap

IGN Brasil. And yes, it’s off the schedule. We were surprised by that reveal too, but it seems legit.

Wing Blast

Hunter’s Mark doesn’t do the same, those are two completely different cards. If Hunter’s Mark was infinite damage, then it would see play in literally every deck ever. Dealing damage is much better than reducing health to 1 in most of the cases, because Hunter’s mark is never a 1 for 1 removal, you always have to invest extra resources (1/1 minion or Candleshot charge at best, but it’s not always that easy) to clear the target. With straight up damage, you don’t.

A very common scenario – your opponent has 2 or more minions on the board, you kill one with Eaglehorn Bow. Using Hunter’s Mark on the second one is pointless, because it’s not removing it.

Hunter’s Mark is best at dealing with single big threats. This is great against boards with multiple Midrange minions, against decks like the current Murloc Paladin, Zoo Warlock, in the Hunter mirrors etc.
