I asked Blizzard some weeks on Reddit to include Baku and Genn in the Classic set (as well as highlander cards like Kazakus), since I think not only they incentivate creativity when building decks, but I also thinking around those cards when creating new decks is quite fun (at least, for me).

But since this article has made made very good points regarding those cards’ power, I am not so sure anymore.

Changed 2 Crystologys by 2 Spikeridged Steed to have additional defensive tools.

Hunters, Warlocks and Warriors are favorable matches, in my experience. I am having a hard tim, however, facing Odd Aggro Mages and Wall Priests.

I am having a lot of fun with this deck and I think it is quite solid. 🙂

Made a little tweaking by changing 1 Crystology by 1 Prismatic Lens because it can help you to draw the combo pieces, or provide a “reduced price” to Shirvallah or Tirion.

I am also making further testing by changing 1 Novice Engineer by 1 Lich King, since I think it makes the whole package more consist: it gives an additional win condition to the deck and provides the Sylver Vanguard another 8-cost minion to recruit. On a third place, it is another big minion that could be drawn by Prismatic Lens.

You are right! Thanks for the clarification. You could add a Tirion Fordring for a 3rd Deathrattle effect. Not only it just has synergy with Silver Vanguard, but also (I think) it increases the probability of the Silver Vanguard Deathrattle effect being taken after the Immortal Prelate’s by Undatakah.

Anyway, I agree it is not a very consistent deck (but quite fun, nevertheless).

Corpsetaker has synergy not just with Crystalsmith Kangor, but also with Shyrvallah and Zilliax. so it looks a very good addition to the deck.
