It looks like you are supposed to set up some crazy spell combos and out value them that way. malygos can draw your c’thun spells to help you win that way also. I think it looks pretty fun!

They call him the “lord of turtling” but didnt give him taunt? He will be too easy to ignore and will not save you from aggro. His deathrattle should have been dropping a shield instead because in WoW he drops “Kresh’s Back” The weapon is cool i guess but the flavor would have been better if he dropped his distinctive drop from the source game.

I agree that there are good and bad things about decks that generate lots of randome careds and ones that do not. I do enjoy games where you are just pitting your deck building against your opponent and you are trying to bait out their 2 mind controls before dropping your Tirion or something but currently I enjoy playing galakrond rogue the most because every game is different. I get different lackeys and have to figure out how to use them in the situation. Those lackeys give me different spells and dragons to work with and it is a challenge to find the best way to use these random cards. I also put Dragons’ Hoard in my deck because it is fun to use all these legendaries that I do not own and see how to make them work in rogue. The straight forward decks are good sometimes and require good skill but the random generation decks also require skill to figure out the current situation and that is often what keeps me coming back and playing. I can see how randome cards would be very frustrating to play against sometimes, though. I guess it is hard to find the right balance, yet it is fun either way, so good job Blizzard!

I love this brawl! I wish that you could add rules like this to make custom games. limiting the power of cards can actually make it very interesting to deck build and sometimes better play experience.

I hope it is something like custom games where you define rules such as certain expansions only and invite other people to join you in a tournament. Could be other deck building rules.

If people dont have the cards for it then they dont have to play it just like normal constructed.

Rotating block of sets sounds fun too.

Also, i have noticed that Battlegrounds is still listed as “beta” so maybe it will be fully released?

I love these brawl block style events. They really make you think up new decks with new combos. I wish there was a “Custom Games” section of Hearthstone where you could specify special rules for deck building and then other people could join and play a tournament with those rules. Rules could be expansion blocks, or only certain number of cards like: only 1 legendary, only 2 epics, only 4 rares and the rest commons of something. Would allow you to keep playing and seeing new setups without the same repetitive meta decks.

Well I was thankful for the pressure that sacrificial pact put on demon hunters and kept their numbers down a bit so we will see what this does to the meta. On the bright side, I finally have a good purpose for my golden Open the Waygate!

Haha oh my. I finally got the 500 wins Druid award last fall as my first one. I have been playing since the second month of the game release. Its like 10 wins for druid per month or something. I cant imagine playing video games that much.

So basically I should craft both zephrys and dragonqueen to make good decks now? thats a lot of dust but i guess they can be used in any class so it could be worth it.

Looks like Illidan Card also got changed into Xavius card and he creates satyrs instead of elementals now. I guess they didnt want it to be weird to play an Illidan card with Illidan hero which may actually happen because the card will probably synergize well with Demon Hunter Playstyle. Playing lots of cards and sumoning lots on small minions.

Demon hunter class looks awesome! I love the complex decisions and comboing of cards as well as the dance between attacking and casting which is how the class feels in WoW and it is so fun.

I am shocked by the Hall of Fame cards! They are removing some critical go-to cards for teching against certain issues (spellbreaker and MCT). I really dont want to use ironbeak owl for silence (bad value). I hope we get something else to replace them.

I actually like the change for priest to being more about buffing health and minions than twisting healing into damage.

Questions: Will non-returning players have the opportunity to play the “returning player” scenario with mage illidan and get the cards for a deck?

I remember people seeing vulpera and sethrak heroes and speculating that maybe it is foreshadowing of those races being playable in WoW (which I am very hopeful of) but then I saw arrakoa and gnoll heroes and thought, “too bad I guess not.” But then I thought, “what if they make those playable races too?” The more the merrier!

5th is undoubtedly Stormpike Commando because he is really bad and his gun goes boom.

I have been going through a rigorous training program for the past year and have not been able to play BFA yet but it looks awesome and the main thing I hope comes from it is the ability to make playable Sethrak (Alliance) and Vulpera (Horde) characters. It would be so cool if they used hearthstone to partially tell the story of how those races joined their respective factions.

The last one looks like it could be something to do with Wrathion? Its about time he entered the story again.

Wow this card is the first proof I know of that female satyrs exist in Azeroth! I wonder if they will ever add them to WoW.
