This boss is ridiculously easy in heroic/normal, just about any class with solid removal and a bunch of big minions can kill him quite easily. I chose a hunter due to the fact that you can get a massive head start with cheap removal/stall with freezing trap and hunters mark/on the hunt and play a minion the same turn, and just go face and he won’t be able to catch up.

(tried two aggro decks and lost)

I feel that in normal just about any aggressive deck can take him down easily, but in heroic, where he has 55 health, I tried two different aggro decks (Hunter and shaman) and after that I tried freeze Mage, and won on the the first try, it was fairly simple to keep his board under control via spells, doomsayer, etc. Alexstaza was actually near the bottom of my deck, so I managed to stay alive for a good bit, although only slightly to finish him off when I finally drew Alex and had already amassed 15+ burn in my hand by that point.

Really OP. Try to get at least 2 innervate and one Coldight w/o coin or 2 Coldight 2 innervate with coin. Try to get at least 5-6 on to the board turn 1.
Most will concede at that point, but if they don’t. Do it again turn 2

I found that Unbound Elemental is much more potent than Argent Horserider in this deck, a 3 mana 2/4 that buffs whenever an overload card (lots of those) are played it’s very consistent with the flow of the deck and can be hard for opponents to handle without removal like fireball

I agree, it works well, especially with buffed weapons, and then send a 9+ attack charger to the face, it’s a shame warsong commander doesn’t work anymore 🙁

Yea, the only time someone ever comes across Malorne is Hunter from Webspinner ?, or you get King Krush/Gaz-Rilla. I remember I coined out 2 Webspinners on turn 1 and got 2 King Krush’s in my hand I was dying of laughter

I’m considering cutting the keepers for murloc Knights to try something new, but they are quite versatile but not quite enough to make them an auto include, maybe cutting one for a murloc knight or even second truesilver
