Community Decks of the Week – February 11th, 2016

Well, it looks like we’ll be waiting at least a month for any expansion talk, so let’s entertain ourselves with awesome community decks!

If you haven’t already you can Register and create new decks with our Hearthstone Deck Builder.

These decks are chosen based on originality, popularity, and guide construction. Utilization of all aspects of the deck builder, e.g., Featured Image, Deck Description, and Mulligans makes you far more likely to be chosen.

Note: These are not all-top tier decks. Some are listed because they have an interesting spin on a standard list, and some are listed just for bringing a unique idea to the table!

Mr Grumms’ Hybrid Fun Party Deck

First, I love the username “MrGrumms”, and second I love the deck name “Hybrid Fun Party Deck”. Now, this is a bit of a control version of Secret Paladin which is pretty unique. You’ll find a few cards in this deck that you don’t usually see, e.g., Sacred Trial, Illuminator, Eadric the Pure, and Ragnaros the Firelord. Any deck that gets some use out of Eadric is okay by me!

This deck was inspired by a 11point5ft deck, but Jeun details the mulligans and goes into how each cards is utilized in the deck. The deck is very Dragon heavy, but uses many early board clears to sustain it in the early game. Once you start dropping Dragons on the board it will be tough to stop!

HandPriest

How about a Priest deck that is inspired by Handlock? The deck doesn’t utilize Molten Giant, but takes advantage of Mountain Giant and Frost Giant. If you’re lucky, you can even use Resurrect to get a 4/7 Injured Blademaster or one of those Giants I was talking about.
