As said, I am joining you on the journey to 1000 wins. I have only played demon hunter since hour one. Momentarily I am around 280 wins and hit legend in both standard and wild for the first time, which has been one of my long term personal hearthstone goals for a while now. I experimented with Murloc DH and highlander in standard but made legend with a regular tempo build.
In wild I played a lot of games with a heal zoo DH, keleseth agro and togwaggle experiments but I have been most successfully with this list:

I am probably going to try and find a way to make highlander work in Wild. I am still looking for a consistency wincon though.

I’ll join you. Got all 1000 wins as well, even about a year before they actually were rewarded and was now on my way to 2000 wins on every hero. So DH will have some catching up to do.
I do fear that we’re not the only one and that for the next few months hearthstone will be a demon hunter stone that will make shamanstone look pale in comparison.

He is a great way to test certain legendaries before you actually craft them… but I might still do that in Wild then.

I am with you on most of this. I believe that a stable meta should at least reign for a month or a month and a half. While I love the deck building phase after a shake up (and while I even perform at my best during that time), I think the really good players shine in a settled meta. The problem is that for the hard core players who spend six hours a day gaming that might be a bit dull. Especially since only a small minority of them get to play at a really competitive level.
I don’t mind a settled meta and love testing home brews on ladder against ruling decks. There will always be more popular and better decks than others. A settled meta adds the strategic level of tech cards and counter decks which is lost in a constantly changing environment. As you mentioned mtg, I remember when playing a tournament, any deck you played had to be equipped against a hymn into hypno opening. still there were many other decks played competitively.

My two cents. I think that just removing the rush keyword from both the gala heropower elementals and corruptor will be enough to level the field. It takes away the crazy tempo from galasham without removing the power play that a fully invoked Galakrond should be.

Long due indeed. They may have overdone the stats a bit for a tech card. I think this now may be a automatic inclusion in any wild deck, with the death knights it almost always deals 5 damage. And a 5 mana 5/5 isn’t the worst line ever even without the battlecry.

Good card but I have a high intolerance for these powerful possibly nuts RNG outcomes. Please blizzard, don’t let a loss or a win feel like a dice roll.

Indeed my first thought too. Maybe a techcard in wild for classes that can’t transform minions. Otherwise 1 star.

Is there any reason why they don’t do the root for your country thing anymore? Just like that Choose Your champion thing?
I thought it really promoted viewer involvement.
Is there maybe some business quarrel between Twitch and Blizzard?

Did they say anything about the android bugs? I don’t see anything in the announcement or am I overlooking something?

^^ this first part. I was hoping at some point they would make a mode/tournament format that disallows use of cards with the keyword ‘random’.
No yogg shenanigans, no super evolves, no lucky discovers… just cards, brains and certain effects.

Great article and it kind of confirmed my suspicion I had when watching Kibler play it last weekend: whereas hearthstone is a simpler version of MTG with added randomness, Battlegrounds will be a simpler version of auto battles with added randomness. I never played any auto battles though so I will defo give it a shot. The game did look very repetitive to watch, but it is probably much more fun to play.
