Really hoping they’ll make a season long story arc again. I think that’s much more immersive and may provide better glue for solo content, mini sets and new game mode even.
Maybe something like the league explores the Horde-> the Alliance-> and gets caught in a war between the two in the third expansion?
Stand alone expansions have far from as much atmosphere.

I guess that depends on how the rarity will be devided. On 10 packs you should get 2 epics, and all rares and commons from the set. So you pay mostly for the guaranteed legendaries. If there are only 2 it wont be worth it, if there are 4 and especially if they are played, it might be worth spending the gold.

Could it also not be that the thing why we love playing Demon Hunter is what makes it so strong? The lack of RNG cards makes it so much more consistent than other classes. This complete immunity to low rolling that all other classes suffer from, gives it an edge that is pushed just that furher because of the card draw it has.

Well LoR actually is a lot better game. Just wish it would go smoother on my oldish phone.
Still, i really like the xp for time instead of wins. The ropers are annoying, yes but far less annoying than having to face the same aggro flavour of the season all the time just because the system pushes that deck for fast gold farming.
With the new system players are no longer punished for actually trying out home brew or slow decks on ladder.
And even if you face a rope farmer, you dont lose xp, which you did if you dared bringing anything but the best fast aggro deck in the old system.

You are more than right that the game is waaaay to expensive for a f2p game. But I play it out of MTG nostalgia and it is still a lot cheaper than that children’s card game. 🙂

I think this is one of the cool things of the new system though. The old system stimulated players too much to go all out aggro. It is not health that control players get punished with less gold for equal or even better win rates.
For the assholes that role, BM fuckers you’ll always get. At least you’ll get the same xp too. It is imho a lot more annoying to play against the same face hunter 10 times in a row.

Sorry. I don’t get it. They say they will add more XP in events, and THAT is why the calculations don’t add up?
The calculations indeed don’t incorporate events, and we used to get those before too, so if those would have been counted as well (fire festival, hallow’s end,…) , the difference between old en new would even be worse!!

Cosmetics are great, but i only like them when they show off some accomplishment. it was really cool when my screen exploded with the 9 new hero portraits, and already on the way for 10 heroes on 2K wins.
I’ll never quite understand the cosmetics that just show off that you paid $, but that’s just me.

Can we find a details breakdown of how much xp it takes to reach each level all the way to 50?
And a detailed summary of how much xp a lost/won game grants, a game against AI, against a friend, a game of Battlegrounds or any other mode…

I meant that that the arena tickets will change to tickets for both Duels Heroic and Arena. So if they implement that change, they might reset current runs.

Plus, i would recommend having a arena run open on 2 losses, because when they change the arena tickets, you’ll get a free one. Don’t know when exactly they’ll do that though, might not be tomorrow.
