You are looking for pure ramp in the early game and if you keep the quest it’s one less chance to get the ramp. Plus, by the time you complete it you’ll likely have played the majority of your minions anyway.

No, KC will be released in 2017. The expansion after that will rotate out Gadgetzan.

He’s part of the new set, he has the Candle watermark and you can search by expansion in the my collection area and he’s listed under Kobolds. However, you might be right about him not being apart of the 135 new cards, and he’s basically exactly like C’Thun.

He’s a cute card, but you’re right he’ll probably end up on this list in the future. He’s very dustable.
