After Patch 20.0 launched, Classic packs were supposed to give only the “original” Classic cards – not the ones added to the set later as replacements for ones that rotated out to Hall of Fame. However, you could still open cards such as Pilfer, Arcane Devourer or Brightwing. It was an error on Blizzard’s part and it shouldn’t have happened.
Blizzard has issued compensation for players affected by the error – if you opened any of those cards after Patch 20.0’s release, you will receive full Dust refunds for all of them. Those refunds should be now out.
We’re aware of an issue where players could still receive the 16 cards that were added to the Classic set later in Hearthstone’s history from Classic and Golden Classic packs between when the 20.0 patch was released (3/25) up until shortly after expansion launch (3/30). We’ll be identifying players who received these cards during this five-day window, and issuing Arcane Dust equivalent to a full refund for each card from the following list in the coming days:

• Righteousness
• Brightwing
• High Inquisitor Whitemane
• Barrens Stablehand

Is there a dust guide with the new expansion? I don’t play wild.
Were we supposed to get FULL refund, as in the crafted value? I packed 2 golden epics from the golden packs, but only got 800 dust. Which makes sense if it’s just the dusted value, but crafted value would be far more. Seeing someone say they got thousands of dust doesn’t sound right if it’s just the dusted value.
Ok, I just randomly got a second reward of 3120 dust soooo, lol.
Was so lucky, from that golden pack I got golden Brightwing.

Awesome I got enough dust for four random legendaries. Those 20 classic packs were really worth it.
Well that explains why i just got awarded 4400 dust out of nowhere. I was wondering why the hell i got Inquisitor Whitemane from that Classic bundle.
But are they dropping ETC, Mekkatorque, Sylvanas, ice block, etc??? I would really love to know this.
Because I specifically heard that they weren’t.
They do drop the correct cards (so original Classic) right now after the fix.
Update: At least should, but we all know that the game is extremely buggy right now.
