Two New Bundles Available In Shop Until April 5 – “Classic” and “Golden Classic”

With Patch 20.0, two new bundles became available in shop. They are built around the newly released Classic format and are most likely meant to supplement players who don’t own enough Classic cards with the necessary options to play old-school decks.

The first bundle is Classic Bundle ($14.99 / €14.99):

  • 20x Classic Card Pack
  • 2x Random Classic Legendary

And the second bundle is Golden Classic Bundle ($19.99 / €19.99):

  • 5x Golden Classic Card Pack
  • 2x Random Golden Classic Legendary

Now, whether those are worth the money or not… Classic bundle seems like a good deal. You’re getting packs at $0.75 per pack, which is a great price, and then you have 2 random Legendaries on top of that. If your Classic collection is missing a lot of pieces, then I recommend it.

As for the Golden bundle, this one not so much for the pure “cards” value. With only 5 packs, you won’t see many cards – on average you’ll get one Epic and 1/4 of a Legendary (since it drops roughly every 20 packs). Of course, Golden Packs are always a gamble – if you get lucky and open a few Epics or a Legendary, then they’re worth it. But if not, then you end up with a bunch of Golden Commons & Rares, which aren’t exactly useful. You could theoretically get it just to Dust all of it – between packs and Golden Legendaries, you should have enough Dust to craft around 3 regular Legendaries of your choice. Is that something you want to get for $19.99? Well, that’s up to you.

Either way, the bundles will be available until April 5. You can get them in-game or through the Battle.net shop.

It’s rotating out, and as a long time player, it doesn’t hold value at all because I own almost every cards from Classic.
    So. Hard Pass. thanks.

I opened a Gadgetzan Auctioneer … and it costs 6!?

Also, in my classic collection, Syphon Soul costs 6. Shouldn’t it cost 5?

    I’m confused. :/

Nevermind about the Auctioneer. Only in Classic format it costs 5.

But the question about Syphon Soul remains.

I think it was during game’s release patch, in March 2014. So a few months before Classic format takes from (June 2014).

Also a question now that they say that cards will only work in classic format dose that mean the same cards in wild will be serpent cards? So if I get one in classic pack I won’t get it in wild, and or if I craft one in wild I won’t get it in classic?

Warning heard that if you open it before the next expansions you can get cards that won’t be in the classic set. So wait if you only want the old classic cards or cards from hall of fame.
