    Solid, assuming handlock will be a deck. So far, I'd say it probably will since this is the 3rd support card we've seen this expansion already. May also see play in Wild evenlock since all the support we've seen so far could fit there. I'm very intrigued by Warlock's set so far since it appears to go in three different directions, although each direction is somewhat supported by existing cards in Standard (other than Handlock, which probably doesn't need loads of support to become relevant because, well, life tap).

      This might sorta find a place in self-mill warlock, since self-mill warlock doesn't care about milling cards so having a full hand won't be the hardest condition to meet. Even still, this is a 8/6 with no immediate board impact, which even for 1 mana I wonder whether it deserves a card slot in the deck or not.

    I guess evenlock in wild got some buffs but I doubt this card will have any play anywhere else. Handlock will never be competitive in standard because you can't afford to do nothing but tap for the first 3-4 turns. If only warlock is given card generation on the same level as priest, handlock will be playable.

      Oh also it's kind of a letdown that this huge demon that has been hyped so much in the book of mercs storyline is just a mountain giant 2.0

      I know which deck he will do terrible damage, is the deck focused on this lackey: Glinda Crowskin. With Glinda Crowskin in the field and you have your hand full, you will have echoes of the Anetheron costing 1 in your hand!

        I play shaman so druid is my natural enemy and druid just received an epic card stronger than shaman's legendary trash, card name: "Oracle of Elune", I rated it = 5 out of 5! And I hate the druid, but I'll be smart and give up the shaman shit and play the druid, at least I'll get to the legendary faster than the shit that is the shaman!!

    ppl underrate this. we've how seen how powerful mana cheat is, yet again we make the same mistake over and over. just look at wild DarkGlare warlock, this is better than Molten Giant and easily goes down with turn 4 and it has demon tag. we forget warlock has DrakGlare and easily cheats, im not even talking about new weapon. warlock is all mana cheat in every corner now. for me 4/5 as a warlock main

      I am not sure this fits in Darkglare. In Handlock or Reno? Certainly. I also agree this will be strong (Corridor Creeper anyone?) especially since Backfire is a thing. Realistically though that means you can’t drop this until Turn 4 at earliest. And there’s one copy. It depends on how the Standard meta rolls out but i bet Wild decks are glad to have it.

        Felosophy copy this turn 3, turn 4 play 2 of this; tap after playing the first one:
        consistent 16/12 stats in turn 4, no big deal

          you keep using that work, but I don't think it means what you think it does...

            how many demons have been added to the pool this exp? 1 so far, demonic studies was a good card now its better and can find the guy, you can try it twice(its shadow).
            when you have full hand it means you have 10 cards in hand 1/3 your deck, with full mulligan its close to 50%, add demonic studies to this and you will start to see the consistency.
            plus Raise dead is a card and playing a 1 mana 8/6 multiple times can highroll pretty EZ.

      It looks good but it just doesn't feel like a legendary effect.
      They could have put this effect on an Epic and given Anetheron some sort of unique effect, like something that goes really well with the quest to summon him.

    Handlock has an insane amount of support. This seems pretty strong with the 10 other handlock cards.

    If it is how I'm believing it, Anetheron is way too specific of a card for this to be so good. but if it's that you just need your hand full once, this is actually a not bad card.

    I think this card way meant for a darkglare Pain deck, where you spam as much cards as possible, with self damage and card tempo.

    1 Star though, for now.
