Mulligans
General Mulligans
Whirlkick Master is essential for getting value out of the deck, and the main card you need to get going.
Shadowstep keeps Whirlkick alive for longer and a solid combo primer.
Aggro Mulligans
Here you just want to control the board with Backstab and Deadly Poison with your Hero Power. A couple Lackeys can also help you stabalize in that case.
General:
This has been made a few weeks before the release of Saviors of Uldum, and thereby hasn’t seen playtesting.
This deck is pretty simply designed to synergize well with Whirlkick Master and any and all cards with the Combo keyword. It is a very agressive deck for that reason and relies on Whirlkick Master and Raiding Party to not run out of cards in hand. The game plan is to play Whirlkick and follow up with plenty of combo cards, keeping it alive for as long as possible. For that reason, using Shadowstep on a Whirlkick at the end of your turn is a solid plan, as it can then prime your combos next turn. Ideally you play as many combos as possible during this time, and get out plenty of damage.
Notes:
- Lackeys are useful for setting up combos and Heistbaron Togwaggle on top of that helps close out a game quickly. As for the treasure, Tolin's Goblet could pull some insane damage but generally Wand of Wonder is the best bet especially if followed by Edwin VanCleef.
- Raiding Party will get you Southsea Deckhand , Dread Corsair and Hooked Scimitar, getting you 6 on demand damage, a free taunt, or both.
- Leeroy Jenkins was added in to replace a Cold Blood to be less taxing on the deck’s strained card draw.
