Only mull Lakkari Sacrifice against Pirate Warrior and other aggro decks, since this is your end game win condition against control decks.

So after spending all day refining my theorycrafted version of this deck I finally have one that performs well. There is a lot to go over in this build but I will try to keep it brief. Since the rotation control warlock struggles with having very little healing. This is why I have Cult Apothecary and Kabal Courier (priest cards and mage secrets) in the deck. Cards that generate or draw are especially strong in this deck because it lets you discard a lot while still having a hand. This applies to Kabal Courier , Darkshire Librarian , and Malchezaar's Imp. Finally, since you end up discarding key removal cards, the card generators and the doubles of Siphon Soul is important. This allows you to discard random cards without making it impossible to play the control game. Additionally, Twisting Nether and Deathwing work really well with the Nether Portal so running both of them actually works out pretty well. Deathwing also can finish the quest if you need it and synergizes with Clutchmother Zavas. Sadly I had to drop a bunch of the fun cards from my theorycraft to improve the winrate. While most people are playing a zoo version of this deck, but I feel like Nether Portal is slightly better in control and I also hate zoo so I chose to build the deck this way.

Winrate & Play testing

when looking at these statistics please keep in mind that I played a total of 12 pirate warriors during play, and lost to every single on of them. That matchup seems to be completely impossible due to lack of healing and cards like demonwrath, but against literally everything else this deck performed amazingly. Also keep in mind this is release day so many people are playing experimental decks.
