Mulligans

As will all Mecha’Thun decks, the idea here is to kill your Mecha’Thun when it is the only thing left on your board, and using your last card to finish it off.

Using the new card Anka, the Buried, we can set up the big boy to need just a backstab to kill it and win the game for us. The rest of the draw cards and spells are easy to play out, and help control the board as we progress towards the combo.

Rogue has the ability to draw cards relatively quickly, and with Hooked Scimitar filling out the Raiding Party weapon slot, we can thin our decks even faster, while also generating some board control with the Dread Corsairs, and a double whammy with the Cursed Castaway clearing minions and drawing cards!

MULLIGAN

VS. AGGRO:

Si:7 Agent  //  Backstab  //  Fan of Knives  //  Novice Engineer

These cards are used for board control. Both Backstabs can be used early, since an Eviscerate can be used instead when we get there.

VS. CONTROL:

Raiding Party  //  Witchwood Piper  //  Myra’s Unstable Element  //  Novice Engineer

When the game is slow, this is when the deck shines. Draw through your deck incredibly fast, and play out all your spells as quick as you can. Sap can be tricky, since it requires a minion on the board for your opponent.
