Mulligans

Aggro Mulligans

Against aggro you really want these cards, the taunt is really strong following from the duskbreaker to take the bord the cleric anc the faerie dragon are also nice to contest aggro minions

Midrange Mulligans

Against midrange, it is the a mix between the aggro and the control, it depends of the midrange deck, if it more aggressive or more defensive

Control Mulligans

Against control you need to put pressure all the time. For that you need to have a nice curve to play something each turn. This cards have to be kept against control. The ooze is used to counter cube warlock which is gonna be really powerful. The spiteful is a really nice card played on turn 6, having it is not a bad thing.

Hello everyone!

Everyone is trying some “fun” or “creative” decks. That’s why I am proposing you this new priest deck to counter your opponents.

With a really nice curve this deck make less value than before. But the new Nightmare Amalgam  and the Faerie Dragon make the dragon synergie great again ! You just need to impose your tempo in the early game and finish with big spells (Free From Amber Mind Control)  and the Spiteful Summoner.

To win against real aggro players, you have a good minions with nice stats, but if you loose the board you can come back with the Duskbreaker (11 dragons in the deck so no complicated to activate the effect ) and a good Tar Creeper or a Twilight Acolyte can temporisate well

Against control, you just have to make value thanks to the Curious Glimmerroot , the Spiteful Summoner and the big spells while always puting pressure with the Cobalt Scalebane and the Shadow Ascendant. Furthermore, the Nightscale Matriarch can be hard to kill and generate a lot of value.

NOTE : I have change the two Curious Glimmerroot fot two Earthen Ring Farseer. I actually have a 80% winrate on 30 games with this deck. I realised that you don’t need value against control because your deck is really aggressive with a lot of T2 and T3. Furthermore the Earthen Ring Farseer activate the Northshire Cleric, can heal you creatures for a lot of value in early game to take the board and is also good with Nightscale Matriarch on late game. That’s why I recommand you to try it.

I tried this deck out. It was good but late game was difficult against certain matchups. I found the mid-late game to be weaker after the Spiteful nerf. I realized I kept drawing small minions that at that stage in the game didn’t add much tempo or value and once the inevitable board clearing answer comes it was sometimes a race to if I could get my bigger threats after even just on every had been exhausted. This is also prior to changes so maybe it’s just the shift. This led to the changes I made though:
    -2x Nightmare Amalgam
    -1x Great Archivist
    +x2 Primordial Drake
    +1x Lych King.

Drake makes up for the removal of nightmare as far as dragons in hand, is a taunt to take the bigger damage and keep good tempo with his AOE. King because Archivist after he got decent value the first time was activating some important Mind Controls late game on the undesired targets which is not good with a poor body that doesn’t make up for it. King is a body, a value generator, a taunt, a target for immediate removal and doesn’t waste my good spells. These changes have yet to effect my early game tempo and have done nothing ball snowball me to victory since. Your deck list is really good, just some changes I found to really help me out mainly because I really just have bad luck.

    Rank 5 (3 stars) —> Legend in 28 wins and 5 looses.
Advantage : fast wins ( only 2 days to reach legend from rank 5 )

    2 looses against odd hunter
    1 loose against tempo rogue
    1 loose against cube warlock
    1 loose against odd paladin

Lot of win against all the other decks

I was 5100 legend and i played 5 matches, only one loose against a tempo rogue and 3 wins against a odd paladin and one against a cube warlock i’m actually 4000 legend

I recommand you to play it !!!

I would run only one FFA, because the 10 mana spot will be much stronger with the Summoner due to the rotating out old gods.

And if you do this replace the Archivist with chameleos, because chameleos could give you really good cards (such as voidlord or other control cards). And the archivist would be pretty bad with only 3 spells.

Yes maybe… I will first try my deck list and adapt it with the meta. That’s sure it is not a bad idea 😉
