Mulligans
General Mulligans
Pretty much always keep Scientist. Keep Play Dead and Stalker if you have an egg already.
Aggro Mulligans
Honestly DR hunter struggles vs aggro even with these cards. Aggro druid is almost insta-loss and I concede turn 3 most of the time if they have mark of the lotus. Pirate warrior is winnable. Shaman is very difficult.I have been trying very hard to optimize wild deathrattle hunter. With the new cards from K&C there’s more new options to try. With this list Kathrena’s only recruit options are 5 and 6 drops. I have found mad scientist and the secrets very useful vs aggro and mid-range and I like wandering monster. Because of the nature of eggs and the tempo loss it’s very easy to just lose to aggro and these hopefully buy some time.
I’m not sure if this list will be any better than my current one. The curve is more top heavy and thus may just be suicide vs aggro but hopefully the start of K&C will be another early expansion control meta which would be great for this list.
It’s hard to say if Carnivorous Cube is better than Cobalt Scalebane as the 5 drop, they both fill the same roll as egg activators with good mid-range stats. Both are good against priests for different reasons.
