General Mulligans
All choices should be fairly self-explanatory. They're meant to help you start ramping as well as survive the early game vs hard matchups. Just remember when played right, this deck is very fast and can easily turn leads into wins. You should also be comfortable playing for late game if you're vs another late game deck, and appreciate the free early game and ramp as fast as you can. Jade is very unique because while its technically a late game deck, it can play aggro in the mid game vs the right matchups. You lose vs true aggro decks and need to just survive early on as best you can, but if you're vs a deck that's also trying to scale you can easily take control of the board and pressure them with how fast you ramp. Play to your win conditions, and play around what you know you're opponent is trying to do.
Post Kobalds iteration of the popular Jade archetype. This build focuses on the core of ramp and late game rush, while teching in cards for a smoother early/mid game. This list is almost identical to the one that got me to rank 7 last season before Kobalds was released, and I personally think the deck only got stronger since then. Jade is still a great choice for ranking up, and this build should get you on your way
