Mulligans

Aggro Mulligans

Aggro is especially important to get the correct mulligan as the game  can end quickly. This match up will not be spent drawing cards endlessly. Playing cards on curve, clearing off their threats while restoring health and putting up taunts until the game has settled and you are dictating the game will be the key to victory. Kazakus often pulls through as a powerhouse for the 1 mana spell ( often coined ) to blast 2 damage to all minions and/or gain armor and/or resummon valuable taunts, doomsayer, or mistress of mixtures. The 5 mana spell is helpful in an additional 4 damage board clear to all minions.

Midrange Mulligans

Playing against a midrange deck is truly a medium play style between aggro and control. Find early game cards that can contest the board while keeping your life total up. Ultimately it is a fight to reach the later turns and the game will swing into your favor with powerful swing turns with minions that build a board while reducing the opponents and having strong removal options of siphon soul and twisting nether.

Control Mulligans

Versus a control match up the mulligan is not too important because ultimately it will end in exhausting them of resources and smashing them in the face with re-summoned demons. The game plan is to draw cards so that all the demon cards can be pulled from the deck while being able to handle threats that may dwindle your life total. Often it is helpful in knowing what board clears will be played so that you can apply enough pressure to get them to use it and then follow up with powerful cards such as Krul, Kazakus resummon spell, and Bloodrever Gul'dan.

This deck strives for controlling the board while sustaining a livable life total. Early Game is spent drawing cards and using resources in efficient ways for board advantage. Building up to a turn to unleash Krul and as many demons as possible to punish the opponent or at least Doomguard and Lakkari Felhound. Even if the Krul demons are cleared off  the board often times the follow up turn with Bloodreaver Gul’dan will be enough to claim the win and leave your opponent devastated.
